How can I adapt the email templates so that emails present correctly in dark mode?

All outbound emails created with our new Visual Email Template Editor should have support for dark mode on all email clients. We have recently launched it and at the time you sent this question here it was still not available. You can find more info on this new feature here.

How about html emails? background-blend-mode: multiply doesn’t work on Intercom

 I’ve heard back from our team and can confirm that we’re adding background-blend-mode to our backlog to be added as soon as the team have bandwidth to do so.

 

For greater context, our product team prioritizes bugs based on the severity of the issue and how widespread of an experience it is with customers. To provide insight on expectations, issues like this may not be actioned for some months. That timeline is based on the team's current existing log of issues and upcoming feature releases which is subject to change.

More often than not it won't take that length of time but we just need to say that so that we set correct expectations on the off-chance that it does take some time to add to our list of supported CSS properties.
