Hey! Is there a way to exclude URLs for posts or banners?

We'd like to show a promotional post or/and banner but don't want it to show up on the checkout page.

Any way of doing this?

Thanks!

Hi @Roy this is an old post but I wanted to say that in our tests this does not really work as expected.

If I set “Where to send” something like URL does not contain “/checkout” the message is (correctly) not trigger on the checkout page. However if the user is on another page at the same time then the message is triggered and popups on all pages, including the checkout page.

Hey there @Marco A !

That is the expected behavior. The message won’t send on the URL specified in your rules. However, once the message has been sent it will always be included in your User’s Message History in their Messenger until you delete the Proactive Support message completely from your workspace. This also means that if it pops up on the screen and the user doesn’t click on it or dismiss it, it will still be shown on the page until the user does so.

If you don’t want a message showing at all on a page then you’ll need to uninstall the Intercom Messenger from that specific page of your site.
