We've gotten multiple messages from people spamming us. Sending inappropriate images too. Is there anything other than blocking the user that we can do?
Hey @christine w , Suc a lovely dog 🥰
A - First of all, you should make sure that the company e-mail address not accessible for e-mail scraping tools.
1. Use (at) - Support (at) company.com
2. Picture generated e-mail addresses
B - If you are using Google Workspace, you can adjust spam filters and then forward e-mails to Intercom.
From the Intercom end, the best way is to block such senders.
@christine w , Please, also make sure that all public contact forms are protected with Google Captcha.
Potentially also look at creating some rules outside of the email/spam filters and based on keywords automatically close any of those conversations - if there are obvious word patterns.
