How do you effectively manage device updates and ensure security compliance in the MD-102 Exam?

I’m currently preparing for the MD-102: Endpoint Administrator exam and I’m particularly interested in understanding best practices for managing device updates and ensuring security compliance. Could anyone share strategies or tips on:

  1. The key steps for configuring update policies on Windows devices.
  2. How to verify that updates are applied successfully and troubleshoot any issues.
  3. Methods for ensuring that security compliance is maintained across all managed devices.

Any insights or resources would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @Finn Allen 👋

I think you may have posted here by accident. We are Intercom and we provide an online platform for businesses to make communication more personal.

You have likely come to our Community forum from one of our customers using our product by clicking the "We run on Intercom" link as shown below.

I'd suggest going back to the previous page and typing your message on the previous website you were on in order to get in touch with the company / business that you're probably trying to contact (as any message sent on an Intercom page, showing intercom.com in the address bar, will come to Intercom and not the people who you are looking to get in touch with).

And in case you were wondering about Intercom’s security compliance, Intercom is both SOC2 compliant and ISO 27001 certified.

You can download the following Compliance Documentation from your workspace Security Settings here:

  • SOC 2 Report
  • ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and ISO 27018 Certificate
  • HIPAA Attestation Report
  • Penetration Test Summary
  • Cloud Security Alliance Assessment

Hope that helps!
