We're curious if the newly released Tooltip feature set was designed with any accessibility requirements in mind. It's great we can adjust colors to ensure contrast ratios are met but can these tool tips be used by users who require keyboard tabbing? Can they be utilized by those who consume content with a screen reader?

I'd be interested in the answer to this as well!

Hey @wesley b and @user86  👋 We haven't done any specific accessibility work on Tooltips as yet. You can currently tab between them and use enter or space to show the content - however the content doesn't stay open. It looks like voice over on my mac plays better with the tooltips when they are set to "click" instead of "hover".

When they are set to click you can tab into a tooltip, open it with the keyboard and have the voice over read out the content of the tooltip when it's expanded. That all said, as mentioned, we haven't done much specific accessibility work for Tooltips. Will feed back to the Team that this is something we can improve on ✅ .

Seconding this as a request!
