Use Intercom Product Tour in Salesforce

Hi Everyone, if there are any possibilities to work with the Intercom Product Tour on Salesforce Lightning pages ?

When I start it I have an error “Sorry, we can't load the tools to build Product Tours on your website. Please make sure the Intercom Messenger is installed on the URL you have chosen to build your tour.”

I have added the Intercom Messenger on my Salesforce home page and it is displayed correctly but it seems I am missing something, any help would be appreciated.

Hey @Pierre Crouzet Racheal from the support engineer team here👋 

 

The build bar may not be showing for a few reasons, including the following:

  • The Intercom Messenger is either not installed on the URL you added to the tours builder or it has been installed incorrectly.

  • Needing to add allowlist which tools can access your website elements.

  • If your website is hosted locally on you or a teammate's computer, Product Tours are not currently support by locally hosted websites.

  • If you are logging into your website as an admin, but the Messenger is programmed not to boot for you (the admin) like it normally would for an end-user of your website.

Would you be able to check if any of these are the case for you?
