Our sales team is responsible for selling a specific product feature. I'm seeking suggestions from other users on using Intercom features throughout a sales process. This should involve engaging with customers from their initial interest, following up through the purchase, assisting with feature adoption, and retaining customers considering disconnecting from that feature.
Any suggestions on how we can best utilize the Intercom platform for this process would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Nurit 👋 Great to hear your interest in leveraging Intercom to sell your product features 🚀
Here’s a couple of my suggestions:
Initially engage with customers upon signup by setting up targeted messages and campaigns using the Series tool - which allows for outbound email and in-product messaging, push messages, Product Tours and multi-channel campaigns. More on this in this article - Series best practices, tips & examples.
Follow up with interested customers by using Workflows to automate parts of the sales process. For example, you can create a series of automated messages that are triggered by customer behaviour or other criteria - Check out Examples of Help Desk automation using Workflows 📌
Assist with feature adoption by making use of Product Tours to educate users on how to use the feature effectively. This can help reduce churn and increase customer satisfaction.
Retain customers by monitoring their usage and engagement. If you notice a decrease in activity, you can reach out proactively with personalized messages or offers to re-engage them.
Throughout this process, celebrate the successes and optimize your approach by analyzing the performance via Reports and overviews of how your messages and campaigns through A/B testing and message versioning.
Hope this helps! Best of luck with selling & let me know if you have any further questions here 😄
