Hey @lamint, it essentially boils down to whether you want your team to handle the customer's question or not.
Resolution Bot's path building is good for helping your customers resolve complicated questions on their own without a need to route them to your team.
Custom Bots are good for getting extra context on an issue before routing them to your team.
