How to set-up Intercom Phone workflow


Hi Team,

I need your help in setting up our Intercom Phone workflow. When adding a step for Hold and Assign, no teammates appear, including my own name. Am I missing something?

I’d appreciate your guidance on this, as I need to be ready to take live calls on Monday.

Hey ​@Marco Vallano! I may be wrong, but I think that needs to be a Team rather than an individual you’re assigning to (at least, according to the help site). Do you have any teams set up in Intercom? If not, that’s a good first step to make sure that the calls are assigned out to a group!

Hi Conor,

Thanks for your suggestion! I was able to set a team for the inbound calls. However, the problem I'm facing now is that when a call comes in, the screen doesn’t show an incoming call for me to answer. Instead, it goes directly to the inbox.

Would you know how I can fix this?

@Marco Vallano Did you add yourself to the team too (Panda Support)? If so, you should receive calls when you have that inbox open - see this page: https://www.intercom.com/help/en/articles/8488917-take-calls-from-the-inbox
