I installed the messenger to our site via GTM per these instructions. It works as expected however our Engineer noticed the script is having a negative impact on our page load times.

The article recommends using "Window Loaded" as the trigger, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of any different triggers that could be used to delay the script from loading until after the main elements on the page. I see GTM has options for Timer based or Scroll triggers and thought these looked promising.

Anyone have any input or recommendations here?
