I’m building a custom Inbox application and would like to know the best way, if possible, to open a modal within the app.

For example, in the native Intercom Shopify app, a modal is triggered when the agent clicks on 'Create Order.' Can anyone share the most effective approach to achieve this functionality? I’ve read the documentation and can only see an iFrame style approach for Messenger apps, not Inbox. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you are referring to our Canvas Kit to build the Inbox application. You can find the developer documentation for this here.

Thanks ​@mateusz.leszkiewicz for your response. I've reviewed the Canvas Kit documentation thoroughly and found that it does not support showing a modal from the Inbox app.

In that case I am afraid that we don't have the workaround for this at the moment.
