Registering user's email address without need to upgrade (Ghost website)

Hi all,

I just started using intercom and I would like to get the basic functions down before purchasing multiple upgrades. Right now when a user visits on my Ghost site it says:

"You’ll get replies here and in your email: <%= current_user.email %>"

How can I change this in the settings (besides requiring an email for new conversations) to have it detect the email of site visitor if they are logged into the site?

Thanks!

Hello @user226,

To detect logged in user you need to customize Intercom code.

Hi Roy,

In the video it says to replace with the location on the site where user data can be found. I am sure how to find this code. On Ghost, members are listed under: Labs > MEMBERS (BETA). Any ideas where this would be located in the .hbs file?
