For example, if you want to ask users for feedback using your Custom Bot 🤷♂️ How it can be implemented on iOS/Android?
Hi team,We're using a custom bot to understand more about the type of content our clients would like to receive. We'd like to be able to assign tags to users based on which reply buttons they select (there are a series of 3 paths), is this possible?
We have filtered them out in spam but they are still getting through the filter to the inbox
Hi, How do a initiate a conversation from the users whenever they do certain action on our website so that our team will be notified and then follow up with them. For example, we have a assignment upload form on our website, where we would like to initiate a conversation at Intercom when the users uploaded their assignment, so that our team will be notified and resume their conversation with the users as they are reviewing their assignment. I tried to look for Javascript SDK to create conversation programatically so that I can trigger it after the users uploaded their assignment, but no luck. Appreciate any thoughts and ideas to implement this. Thanks!
Do teams have emails teamname@companyname.intercom-mail.com?
Hello! I'm creating a series to send a promotional campaign. I send specific emails to users based on different factors but I'd also like to show a post "popup" to all visitors that aren't logged in. Is there a way of achieving that? Thanks!
We just launched a new feature and as part of our Series, we included an email. The replies were sent to our 1st Level Support team because any inquiries about the feature would go to them. There were very few questions about the feature because it is pretty intuitive. (yay!) Unfortunately, they got hundreds of automated replies from our users who had their own out-of-office settings turned on. (booo!) Is there a better way to do this? As our user base continues to grow, the volume of out-of-office replies will increase.
It would be great if the mobile app could have some basic app visibility. For example, we use statuspage for our outages. it would be great if our mobile guys can see the status page "status" in the intercom app. This would make it easier for the agent to get better visibility. It would also be nice to see recent "events" to help someone over mobile see what someone has done. We use events to track actions in the app and its usually helpful to see if someone has ever used a function or what they're currently doing in the app.
Is there a way to darken the background of the product tours? Our entire product design is in dark mode, so bright white product tour posts are a bit jarring.
I am trying to determine OKRs for my support team. While response time and other time-related metrics sound good, I want to focus on the quality of the conversations we have with the customers. Are there any suggestions on how to do this?
For some reason the guy I'm speaking to in support believes this to be a "feature request' So here is my question/issue/feature request. If I type in words of an article, nothing comes in: If I type in the entire title of the article (as if I can remember every articles exact title), then it finds it.So my request is that intercom make the search work normally.
I know improvements have been made to reports but they still seem very basic, unless I'm missing something? Thanks
Hey guys, looking on to setup Intercom messenger to work with Arabic Right-to-Left languages. I thought I've seen it once but can not find any evidence now that it can work. Have anyone had any success with it or has any idea how to force it to do the RTL?
Hi! I have a different layout of the website when browsing with desktop or mobile. I would like to use a button bot in mobile browsing. Am I able to do that? The same button doesn´t exist in the desktop version if that makes any difference 🙂 The situation is that the messenger won´t fit in the mobile layout and I should be able to hide the messenger when browsing with mobile and instead I would like to use button bot. Can anyone help?
Our organization offers a custom onboarding experience to our clients. It would be a game changer to know if we can see how far individuals have progressed through a series so we know what the user has seen, and what they haven't.
Hi, I wish to have a user interact with a specific intercom bot directly by clicking on a button. Is that possible? I am aware that we can launch Intercom from a custom button using ```Intercom.client().displayMessenger();``` This opens up the default messenger window based on the conditions mentioned in the docs (https://developers.intercom.com/installing-intercom/docs/android-configuration#section-create-a-custom-launcher However, I wish to always open up a single custom bot whenever the user clicks on the button regardless of any other conditions. Is that possible ?
When incorporating the resolution bot into a custom bot, what's the question you ask in order to most optimally trigger the resolution bot answers? Any philosophies here? :)
I tried it yesterday because on paper it sounded really great. However, in our daily business, it made things more uncomfortable. Every chat in the Inbox just says "Talk to a person" (so you can't get an overview about open topics from customers).Does anybody use the new feature with an actual customer service team? It's probably a great addition for teams that are not doing live chat.
I'm looking to hide the button to launch the messenger/operator on certain pages, by URL.Is there any way to achieve this?
Hi, I have integrated intercom in my iOS app. Is it possible to know if user has tapped the send button? PFA Regards,Zahoor
Hi, We are using intercom on our iOS application and giving services to our customers like "Travel booking", "Dining table booking". When our customer want to contact us, before starting the chat we want to show a notice message to the users e.g if user want to book a dining table then we want to show a message like "Please provide restaurant name, number of guests and date time". And if user want to book a travel ticket then we want to show different notice e.g. "Please provide departing airport, datetime, Arriving airport, date and time" etc etc. If showing such notice at the top of the chat is not possible is it possible to ask these questions in a text field depending on the request type e.g. if dining request then showing different fields and if ticket request then different textfields/drop downs? Regards
Hi everyone, I have several onboarding series where each one tries to onboard a user in something. All series ends the same way: if the user hit the series goal -> tag ONBOARDED_Xelse -> tag NOT_ONBOARDED_X and send an email asking for feedback. This works really good, but I need something else :) If the customer doesn't reply the feedback email in a couple of days, I want to tell my CS team to contact her/him. The ideal would be to have a series node to create a Trello card, but I'm ok if I can send an email to cs@... with basic info, ie "Contact {name} of {company} that wasn't onboarded in X". I couldn't find a way to do this, is this possible? Thanks!
I have a list of users in a spreadsheet that I'd like to all have tagged in intercom with a specific tag. Is there a way to do this?
There is no shortage of conversations to mine, and I've given it a couple of days as the help material suggests it's an overnight process.
HI! I was evaluating other digital adoption platforms and I already like the direction Intercom is taking. I want to understand what's in store so that I can be confident that I made a decision for the long term. What's planned for product tours? For example, are things like Tooltips and Checklists in plan?
