How can I set a custom bot to end up in a live chat with the site visitor?

How to send an email (normal ticket, not automatic email or series) to more than one user/ recipient? I tried to do it but it seems no luck. And what is the reason behind this? My company case needs to sent emails to several recipients every morning and this causes huge problem if we cannot.

Hi There, I would like to send a message to a specific user in our app trough intercom on certain situations. I was thinking of creating a custom attribute for my users and when that attribute contains a certain "value", to trigger the message. I am using Zapier to do this Has anyone tried this out ? When I try to update that attribute value with Zapier...nothing seems to happen.

How do I get a person to exit a series once they've clicked a specific link, such as the "get a quote" or "get a demo" link in a previous email within the series? I see how to get people to exit if they've clicked any link in the previous email, but not a specific link. Is this possible?

Most of the leads (except 5 or 6) have suddenly disappeared from our Contact. I've checked and none of our teams has done anything to result in this. This morning we had ~1200 leads but now there are only 7. Has someone encountered this problem before? This is very concerning.  

I can't set my series live because of invalid starting blocks, like empty e-mails and empty rules, but I have double checked all e-mails and rules. Any saviors please?

Is it possible to restrict certain teammates from viewing certain leads?

For our use-case it's necessary that we have a high number of agents that can *NOT* see each-other's ongoing conversations.  After some testing, it seems like even a user with all of its permissions switched to "OFF" can still go to inbox > See More and gain access to the inbox channels of all the other users.  This is problematic for our use case, where the different agents are essentially "exhibitors" on a digital event (and therefore it would be very bad if they could "spy" on each-other's lead conversations). How would you proceed?

How does Intercom get user information, such as phone number? I have a user who has two intercom profiles the one she is chatting with me on has a different phone number than what she claims her phone number to be.

I'm trying to gain more insights from our use base, we're rapidly growing our support team with hires all over the world, so I'm looking for more depth in conversation satisfaction through CES scores. (i am currently using Wootrics for this)  My issue is, It looks like I have to manually send these surveys at the time of closing a conversation. I'm rubbish at this - Write out close message > Click Apps > Add Wootric > Choose Survey > Send. I feel I'm missing a trick here right?

Can I start a custom bot from an ongoing conversation? If a user sends a reply to an open ongoing conversation, but his reply is off-hours, I need it to send a custom reply. How can I do that?

I am having confusion about how our messenger works. We have an app that you will be needing to log in to be able to send a message. Now there are times when a user name has "user + random 4 letters/number" but then there are other messages that has users name on it. What is wrong? Why is it doing that?

With this setting enabled, Intercom says that customers can reply to emails, and those replies will open a new conversation. I'm wondering - in that situation would our team be able to see which email conversation the customer was replying to or would we need to scroll through past conversations to get this context?  Thanks everyone 🙏

Hi, we want to notify an external system when we send a segment based chat to a group of users.Actually we don't find any way to do that. Via webhook we only can access when a single message is sent to a concrete user. but not in massive messages.Thank you

Hey folks, I have a team with several agents and they use Round Robin system to get the conversations. Sometimes one person gets the "bad ones" that take some time to resolve so they can not address the new ones fast enough while other agents might get free.  I was thinking if I set Inbox Automation rule, for a conversation that is not replied to for X minutes, and assign it to the same team it was already assigned to, will this trigger Round Robin again and get this conversation to the next in line (hopefully not the overloaded person). I'm aware of Balanced option, but that does not really solve re-assignment of unanswered conversation (it just gives new conversations to less loaded agent).

In the web app, I can search for an article and get results, but clicking on any article leads to a blank page

How can I get sound notification on mobile app (iOS app) when a visitor comes on the website?Or there is no such option, and I can only get notified when the visitor initiates the chat?

Is there a limit to inbox storage?  For example:  How much can your inbox store in total? or,  How much data can one inbox conversation store?

I am able to create posts that reappear every time a user navigates to a particular URL, but for some reason the banner will only appear once. Here is a screenshot of the Banner that would not appear more than 1x per user. Notice I have the frequency set for every time a person matches the rules. If you have any suggestions on how to fix this, please let me know. The banner is better than posts or chats for page issues. 

We receive a large amount of requests from the Email channel. I have a set of rules in place to tag conversations and wish to provide Buttons with potential self serve answers for requests arriving via Email.  

I'm looking to run a timing test for one of my custom bots. I'd like to have it appear on certain pages of my website but also test WHEN the bot appears. It doesn't appear I can do that. I can only have OR logic or AND logic for my bot rules. Is there any way I can combine and/or logic here? Also, when I'm running an A/B test on a bot, is there a way to create different rules for the tests I'm running? I don't see a way to do this.  Thanks!
