We have enabled the messenger onto one of our applications. This application can generate a URL that can be shared externally outside of the company. Is there a way to hide the messenger from being displayed based on URL schema?

Example scenario:

  1. Application is opened (m-intercom.com)
  2. User views a specific area of the application (m-intercom.com/user/XYZ)
  3. User clicks a button to generate external link (m-intercom.com/external/XYZ)
  4. User provides external link to users not in our Intercom instance

There is a way that you can manage the chat and messenger bot to specific conditionals but it seems to still display the Messenger widget? In the example above can we mark the messenger to not be displayed "if URL does not contain "user""?

@jon t11 hello!

I'm not 100% sure that I understood what you are doing, but you can definitely hide Intercom messenger on dedicated pages, specifically, say URL does not include "..." like here:
