Since I am trying to measure the opening rate for the series I am settings up, I want to know the difference here.Thanks in advance!

Let's say I have a created a banner on 10th July and 18th July.. A user logs in on the 20th after a long time. Will both these banner be active for him? Or the first one will be active and the moment he dismisses the second one will go active? 

We sent out a custom email this week that I spent a long time coding in pure HTML/CSS. Is there any way of finding the code for the email so that I can use it as a template in the future? It seems as if once the email is sent, it is deleted?!?

Does anyone know a way to trigger outbound messages if the value within a custom attribute has increased?  i.e. send an email if the custom attribute value (which was 3 for example) has now increased to 4.  Thanks!

I would like to send an email to users who did not get my last email. I tried adding a tag to the previous email and then excluding that tag from the new email, but it's not excluding people who already received it. How else can I do this?

I'm trying to make the entry rules for a series so that people who log in after a certain date and who are recurring users get funnelled into the series. But when I add the date rule, I get a red bar at the top of the screen, but no information as to what the problem may be. Can you help me?

How does Intercom track and report on outbound emails that are forwarded from the recipient to another user (say in the same company) who then opens the email and follows the links?

Not sure where this conversation goes this but dropping here for now.  We would like to create campaigns for leads that visit and interact with the site, however, we keep coming across one common issue. We have a lot of users who come back to the site and email support utilizing an email different from the one they used to create their account/ signup with.  We currently only offer 1:1 support for users, not leads, so no chat/ support widget from intercom is featured on the website. A lot of members will send an email to support directly via a different email, and it creates a new lead. We want to be able to send leads through an automated campaign but can't do this confidently while there are a lot of users being labeled as leads when they message in with new emails.  How can we keep this from happening? This is not a matter of wanting to know how to merge leads and users, I want to find a way to keep them from incorrectly being labeled as a lead in the first place. Are there any

I have steps that are based on events fired to intercom.If a tour got a user to act we fire an event with js.Ideally, the next tour in the series would launch without a refresh, but right now the user has to reload the page. We tried calling intercom("update") still does not work.

1st — Is there a way to remove a tour from a series without deleting it? And more so, is there a way to duplicate a tour within a series to be a standalone tour? I am currently having to create a new tour and copy and paste steps from the one I wanted to duplicate and/or move out of a series and its not fun, lol.  2nd — We have a lot of tours currently connected to series that we want to take out and make purely URL page visit based. But since this is a new tour (technically) with the same content, will it send out the tour to a user the first time they see the page after the tours been set to live? Or is it smart enough to know that they viewed that page prior to the tour's existence?  I'm not sure how to proceed since I can't just remove the current tour from the series, and the only way I can see to get it to be standalone is to create a new one, but I don't want to send redundant tours to people that have seen the previous one in the past.  Confusing, I know... but

The error message is odd because Intercom is working just fine for all other functions and did work for Product Tours previously. I consulted this Intercom help article (https://www.intercom.com/help/en/articles/3049411-why-can-t-i-build-a-product-tour). When I tried to match up the Intercom workspace ID as directed, my browser console shows the attached. I consulted our web developer, and he said that the intercom_key mapping is used as Intercom requires in its script. This is a time sensitive issue because using a product tour is critical to us launching the new version of our app. What happened with Product Tours? Anyone else experiencing the issue of the Product Tour editor no longer showing up?

My apologies if this is answered clearly elsewhere. I want to confirm that while a user is active on a series they will not be eligible to restart that same series? The series is event based and the event can happen many times but I only want users to be eligible for the series once. I imagine this is the default but don't want to be wrong when i set this live!

My series is first based around trying to create communication with our leads. So the goal is to try drive response from the leads (in the first place).  I want to test different variants of mails , but I cannot set a "goal" of responded to message? It seems a like a pretty obvious requirement and I feel like I am missing something. I know you can add a [OPENED | REPLIED TO | CLICKED LINK] for each of the exit points of a message, but I can't feed this back to the goal? Maybe a hack for this to "add tag" and goal based on tags added or something? Someone help me out! Glad I found this page, the support feels SO slow when you are just trying to get bits done!

I would like to know if full-size posts work in mobile browsers when using webapp (as opposed to native apps that can use SDK).

Meaning, when our product tour is set live it opens for every user that is corresponds to "Audience rule" at certain page, but we would like to make it open for them just for once and do not repeat after.

With the new subscription model that came out for unsubscribing, is there still a way to resubscribe users?

In our app, we want to show two different product tours for the user to choose from: one that helps her/him to create a landing page and another to help to create the ads. I use series with the following workflow: Rule: users lands to x url option 1: Product tour for Landing Pages option 2: Product tour for Ads I launch it and it only displays 1 product tour option, not both. Is there another turnaround?  ty! 

Hi, I'm having issues with duplicate users appearing in Intercom The problem appears to be isolated to users who were previously leads on Intercom that have an 'email' and 'user_id' attributes. It appears that the user_id attribute is automatically created when they are created as leads. When I use the tracking script as follows: Intercom('boot', { app_id: 'abc12345', email: 'john.doe@example.com', created_at: 1234567890, name: 'John Doe',}); It creates a new account for the user, presumably because the use cannot be identified by their email. However when I add their user_id into the tracking script - it stops tracking their sessions altogether. Here is the script I'm using for this: Intercom('boot', { app_id: 'abc12345', email: 'john.doe@example.com', created_at: 1234567890, name: 'John Doe',}); Any ideas how to stop duplicate accounts being created for these users?

We're trying to send different targeted messages to users based on a few actions: User has not created a projectUser has created a project with no phase or taskUser has not sent any invitationsUser has not created a budget itemUser has not created a selection item We decided to put these in their own series, separate from the other normal 10-day trial messaging (which includes 3 primary emails - welcome, halfway point, and expiration day). I want to be sure I set it up so that during the 10 day trial users aren't getting these all at once.  I set it up with to different paths but am worried someone will exit the series before they have a chance to go into each path. I'm wondering if it should be more linear or if someone could take a look and help me out with the best way to set this up? Attached is screenshot of the current set up.

My site has page accessible only for registered customers. Does it possible to set up product tour on protected pages? When I input page URL in the tour builder I get error.

I have set a series with a mobile carousel to onboard my users and I want to make the difference between:- users who clicked on the last button of the carousel- users who only completed the carousel without clicking I see I can create a rule in my series to tag users who :- "Received a carousel"- "Completed a carousel"- "Hit a carousel goal" Is it possible to create a rule for users who "Clicked on carousel button" ?

Hi, We would like to send a message with a survey (similar to NPS) regularly every 3 months. The message and the survey will be always the same, so we can compare results and watch the trends. For every new round, we would like to check the rules and include new users.  I was not able to find the way to do this. Is there any option? Thank you.

I'm building a Series to manage an automated feedback process for our customers. The Entry Rule for this Series will simply be to find any Lead that is tagged "Customer Name Review".  I have created a Lead and given it the appropriate Tag. When I try to create the Entry Rule within the Series, I can see all of our other Lead Tags but not this one.  Other than the tag not being in use (which is not the case), what other factors may be stopping this Tag from displaying as an option to add to the Rule?
