Hi, I'm having issues with duplicate users appearing in Intercom The problem appears to be isolated to users who were previously leads on Intercom that have an 'email' and 'user_id' attributes. It appears that the user_id attribute is automatically created when they are created as leads. When I use the tracking script as follows: Intercom('boot', { app_id: 'abc12345', email: 'john.doe@example.com', created_at: 1234567890, name: 'John Doe',}); It creates a new account for the user, presumably because the use cannot be identified by their email. However when I add their user_id into the tracking script - it stops tracking their sessions altogether. We're trying to send different targeted messages to users based on a few actions: User has not created a projectUser has created a project with no phase or taskUser has not sent any invitationsUser has not created a budget itemUser has not created a selection item We decided to put these in their own series, separate from the other normal 10-day trial messaging (which includes 3 primary emails - welcome, halfway point, and expiration day). I want to be sure I set it up so that during the 10 day trial users aren't getting these all at once.  I set it up with to different paths but am worried someone will exit the series before they have a chance to go into each path. I'm wondering if it should be more linear or if someone could take a look and help me out with the best way to set this up? Attached is screenshot of the current set up.

My site has page accessible only for registered customers. Does it possible to set up product tour on protected pages? When I input page URL in the tour builder I get error.

I have set a series with a mobile carousel to onboard my users and I want to make the difference between:- users who clicked on the last button of the carousel- users who only completed the carousel without clicking I see I can create a rule in my series to tag users who :- "Received a carousel"- "Completed a carousel"- "Hit a carousel goal" Is it possible to create a rule for users who "Clicked on carousel button" ?

Hi, We would like to send a message with a survey (similar to NPS) regularly every 3 months. The message and the survey will be always the same, so we can compare results and watch the trends. For every new round, we would like to check the rules and include new users.  I was not able to find the way to do this. Is there any option? Thank you.

I'm building a Series to manage an automated feedback process for our customers. The Entry Rule for this Series will simply be to find any Lead that is tagged "Customer Name Review".  I have created a Lead and given it the appropriate Tag. When I try to create the Entry Rule within the Series, I can see all of our other Lead Tags but not this one.  Other than the tag not being in use (which is not the case), what other factors may be stopping this Tag from displaying as an option to add to the Rule?

Hey there friends,We're a small startup and leaning heavily into our Intercom installation with a range of engagements from messages to email. Before I get much fancier, I decided to do an audit to think through our customer journey as they pass through our home pages and into our SaaS software.  To do this audit, I simply created a big Miro chart that identified steps. I can't be the first person to do this.  Are there best practices out there all of you big-timers can suggest?  Thanks!~b

I noticed, first the channel field in data for push notifications had value push_only, later i saw it was changed to push, but I get nothing from push notifications inside series. More so, is there anyway of looking at the performance of all my push notifications, and see metrics like ORs, etc right now??? Because I couldn't even look at these metrics on the report sec

Creating posts, is there no way of removing a button that one has put in? Do I need to redo the entire post?

In one of the slides, I have some text and a video. Is there a way to align the text for example, to the left, and the video to the right?  

Example: Rate our tour + a scaleOpen-ended questions (what do you think is missing.. ) etc

Our product has several third party partners in different countries, who onboard and register users for us. On Intercom I can see the users' names, user ID, and not much else. The Email field says "Unknown". My only question is if these users receive our messages, posts, etc. as normal users do (assuming they match the audience we set)?  Thanks!

Hey All. We're trying to set a product tour on multiple pages, but we've run into a few issues. We're not sure what's wrong, it's been a few days and we haven't heard from Intercom's support yet, so I'm trying here. The messenger icon isn't showing automatically on our landing page. We believe it's enabled since browsing to another page where the messenger works and then clicking back to the landing page brings up the icon, but then refreshing the page causes the icon to disappear.The tour isn't working on the landing page. It seems to theoretically work on other pages, but not even the preview works on the landing page. We tested it by replicating a tour that works on another page into the landing page, but it's still not workingHow do I enable the tour for everyone, regardless of whether you're a new user or not?Rather than just a new user seeing it, is it possible to trigger the tour

Is there a way to prioritize posts so that if the user has not signed in for awhile the most recent post pop as the full message instead of being grouped as a snippet with the rest of the past posts they have not seen yet.

Hello, Intercom Community.I would like to make a recursive auto-message that will be sent to the user not once, but each time when some events trigger. ExampleWhen the user is clicking the button A, the Event-A appears in his event feed. He can click the button A lot of times and each time the Event-A will appear. I would like to send an auto-message to the user each time when Event-A will be triggered Can it be done with the custom bots, series or any other kind of the apps/products?Thank you

I'm using Series for delivery notifications, can I get the same user to re-enter the same series repeatedly?

This might not be the right forum, but as we're looking to optimize Intercom more and integrate live support chat, we are trying to understand which team members should have Intercom accounts. Our product marketing team uses Intercom to send monthly release messages and we were wondering if they needed an inbox seat to send these messages, or can they just have a intercom account without the inbox seat? I thought I was understanding that inbox seats were only for the support live chat function, but definitely need to understand more. Thanks :)

We have our customer and partner community separately. I want to send out a post to all my users about the community but I want exclude the members who are part of these communities how do I do it? So, I filtered the company name is <Customer community name> and created a tag. But it does not seem to work. Please help.

What is the Parameter option to filter + 5 days of buying. I'm trying to send an announcement to paying users with 5+ days since they bought the product.

We're testing a new onboarding series. When we set the series live, a couple of the people in our test get the 2nd video in the series but a couple of the people in the test do not get served the post. There's no perceivable difference between those who received it those who didn't. Any help and insight would be very welcomed! Also, we're trying to limit the posts to only showing up in-app but the posts are also showing up on the website. Would love to figure out how to make sure the posts show up only in the app. Thoughts?

We have a large number of mobile carousels in our app and was wondering if there was a quick way of being able to tag all users who have received any of our mobile carousels rather than in Series where it appears you have to specify which specific carousel they have received

Hey all, since my last attempt for translating articles was super successful, I'll try to pick your brains again.We are preparing to launch our software in more languages. Can anybody share some tips on how to go about translating outbound communication? Were you able to automate some steps? We will probably work with external translators for most languages. Will we have to rely mostly on copy/pasting the content we receive from them? Thanks for your input
