Is there a workaround to be able to export Reports? | Community

Does anyone have a solid work around to export reports, including all the charts, as they appear in Intercom? I'd like to share these with internal stakeholders who don't have access to Intercom.

Currently, only function is to download the underline data or screenshot the report 😅 - where is I really just want to send the report to stakeholders.

Intercom currently doesn’t offer a direct feature to export reports with charts as they appear in the dashboard. However, here are a few workarounds you can try

Custom Report Exports
   - Download the underlying data and use tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or Tableau to recreate the charts. These tools also allow you to customize the visuals before sharing.

Automated Screenshots
   - Use browser extensions or tools like CloudApp, Snagit, or ShareX to take and annotate screenshots of the reports. These can be compiled into a PDF or presentation for easy sharing.

Embed Reports in Presentations
   - If you frequently share reports, you can create a template in PowerPoint or Google Slides where you embed screenshots alongside data insights, making it easier for stakeholders to review.

While none of these are one-click solutions, they allow for tailored reporting that meets your stakeholders' needs effectively.

Thanks Nur,

Was hoping that there was a better work around than screenshots or rebuilding external to Intercom.

Feels like it was a waste to build in intercom first 😅, should have checked if I could export before I started 😂

Agreed, intercom should have a function to export custom reports, otherwise the use of it is very limited

Hi Folks,

Mark here from the Reporting Product Team. We are currently building out a solution that will allow you to share custom reports with external stakeholders. It should be in beta in around 6 weeks time.

Has there been any progress on exporting / sharing custom reports yet? :)

We are still working on this feature and plan on having it available to customers in the coming weeks.
