Usually, reaching out to Support isn’t very fast, so I’ll try asking the members of this community instead.
I’d like to create an audience, but the audience tool isn’t exactly what I need—it doesn’t let me select all the viable fields within Intercom.
For example:

  1. Users who received WhatsApp campaigns through our company’s WhatsApp Business number.
  2. Users who replied to any WhatsApp message using specific keywords.
  3. Users who were transferred to a specific team inbox.
  4. Users with a conversation attribute marked with a specific value.

I’d like to use these criteria to create an audience that I could leverage in a future WhatsApp Business Outbound campaign.

Hi @Equipe Appmax, It’s Mat from the Support Engineering Team 😀

I am sorry that you had a not-co-well experience with reaching out to the Customer Support in the past. We are doing our best.

To create an audience for a WhatsApp Business Outbound campaign with specific criteria, you can follow these steps:

  • Start by setting up rules based on events or date for your WhatsApp messages. You can choose to trigger the message based on these rules.
  • Define the audience for the message by selecting either a Dynamic or Fixed audience. For instance, you might want to target leads who have contacted your Sales team and have a phone number starting with a specific prefix.
  • Note that users without a value saved in the Phone attribute will be excluded from the audience. Also, if you're using an event or date-based rule to trigger a WhatsApp message, your audience must be "Dynamic".
  • To manage audiences for your knowledge content, you can create and manage new audiences by setting audience targeting rules that define that audience. This includes using Intercom defined data attributes, Custom Data Attributes (CDAs), and Conversation Data Attributes (CvDAs). You can also filter by tags and segments to target users with a specific tag or who belong to a particular segment.

Remember, the audience tool may not allow you to select all viable fields within Intercom directly, but by using a combination of the available attributes and rules, you can create targeted audiences for your campaigns.
