The Multilingual Workflows feature

Hi,

I cannot see the The Multilingual Workflows feature to activate it on my workflow like this article mentioned:

The AI Inbox Translations is enabled

but I don’t have the other button :

Any advice? Ideas?

Thank you,

Hey, that is very odd - were those logged-in users mid-workflow before you change the auto-translate, maybe? I’m a little stumped - I see that the workflow is enabled for leads, users and visitors, and auto-translate is enabled, so I’m confused by why a new conversations by a logged-in user wouldn’t work here.

This might be the right time to reach out to Intercom’s support team for 1:1 help - and if you work it out, please let me know what was wrong!

Ah, I have a feeling the help page is out of date (it’s in beta, so likely changing pretty fast based on feedback and interactions the Intercom team is seeing here). I would guess that the toggle from the help page’s screenshot has been replaced by the Auto-translate toggle on the workflow page (which I’m also seeing).

Are you having trouble even with that enabled? If you preview the workflow, you should be able to use the Auto-translate dropdown to preview in your other supported languages.

Hi!

Thank you for your reply!

In the meantime, I realized that the button was likely replaced with the 'Auto Translate' button, which is enabled, as shown in my last screenshot. I'm still unsure what we're missing here. We tested as an unauthenticated user, and it worked (it translated the chat into a language other than English, the default language). However, for logged-in users with any workflows activated, our Fin is still only responding in English and refuse to help in other language.

Thank youuuu!
