Please help! We need to break an image URL for an email that has deployed immediately. Can I break an image URL from the UI? I see the image lives on a google cloud server. We need to break that image URL asap.
We have a few rules in Intercom that assign based on Location (Country to be more specific). today we noticed multiple conversations (mostly reach outs via email) getting routed to the wrong queues since they were coming in with null for location (little map location symbol). We were hoping you could provide any insight as to why this would start happening today? Where can we start to get this fixed and ensure all reach outs (especially via email) include location data such as “country”?
My team is having trouble sending out SMS. It would fail with the error message “There was a problem starting this conversation, please try again.” Does anyone know the root-cause and fix? We’ve tried logging on and off, and this is happening more routinely.
I want the chat to open when someone clicks on a button and image of the website. I know this is possible with a custom launcher but how can I add it to a Wordpress website?
I would like to be able to structure the helpcenter as the process. Hence i have a standard process. With high -level steps. Underneath these steps are detailed steps, underneath these steps manuals are provided
Hello Intercom Community! The (relative) recent updates to team’s and teammates’ allow us workspace managers to set permissions very cleanly, and it is a great way to restrict certain teammates from accessing inboxes, customer data, or change settings. However, this is not the case for the menus ‘Outbound’, ‘Articles’ and ‘Operator’, where any one in the workspace can access these menus and apply changes to many of the things available there (live messages, bots, etc.).Is there any one to prevent any access at all to these pages? Just like with the menu ‘reports’, in which when one doesn’t have permissions to access it, they are prevented from even loading it altogether. Thank you 😊
Want to send a mobile push notification “reminder” to users 30 days after they meet criteria
Hey all, We’re seeing a lot of personal email addresses coming in as leads via intercom. I wondered if there’s a way to do one of the following:Request/accept business email addresses only (blocking personal altogether) Route personal email addresses down a different conversation path (so we don’t apply lead attributes and assign to sales) Any other creative solution that prevents people with personal email addresses becoming leads via the messenger and custom bots becoming leadsBest wishes Tom
Hey guys, I’m trying to redirect Intercom articles to articles in another help center. How do I do that?
Hi, Is it possible to set up a wait time based on an attribute. More specifically, I have a device-connect date and I would like the next e-mail in my series to be triggered 90 days after this date. How can I achieve this?
Hi Everyone,We use Google Tag Manager to implement intercom, via Intercoms own tag template. I’m kinda confused how I should push an array of multiple companies to intercom via tag manager and our dataLayer.Could somebody elaborate on how to get this working? The issue i’m facing is that we don’t know howmany companies a user has on beforehand and the template only allows to send 1 variable to intercom. Or perhaps I’m wrong and there’s another way?Kind regards
I am deep diving into the last updates related to Intercom tickets.Indeed, I onboarded the call center team when the ‘Share ticket with customer’ option was present in its first version (see inage below). That way of opening a ticket and sharing it with customer was effective since the call center operator had only to fill the ticket type form, flag the sharing option and create it. Now, after creating a tk., the call center operator has to share it manually and create a linked conversation. Even if it sounds good to keep the tickets workflow and conversation workflow separated, the call center operator has to do three suqbsequent activities for one support request:opening the tk share it with the customer open a linked conversation which is expected to say something. As from our teams structure, the call center operator is only expected to open one request for part of the customer and then the rest of the conversation is in charge of another team.Therfore, how can I take advantage of s
For years we have been struggling with finding a smooth workflow with forgotten items (we are a taxi company). Our main problem is that Intercom doesn't let us connect to conversations easilyWe can't seem to collect information and automatically send it out to another user (from rider to driver) - we always have to be the intermediary between them creating a LOT of extra steps in the process. With tickets I thought this could make the situation easier but it seems like there isn't really an easy way to pull out the information and use it (for instance Forgotten item, description, driver name). It seems like we actually have to do it manually AND use it in the terribly organized menu on the right side. I tried with both tickets and custom attributes to fill out in the custom bot but nothing seems simple and it seems like we anyway have to manually forward the information via a message to the driver afterwards. (Also link the conversation via notes which seems so manual and u
Hi, I am creating a post and embedding a tour in it but it looks weird. How can I remove these highlighted unnecessary details from the post regarding the product tour? I just want a simple tour button which the users can click on. Currently, it the product appears as a separte feature for my users too.
Almost all users that use our support site/messenger are coming through as leads. Is there a way to amend the qualification rules when categorizing leads vs users? It’s created a loop that I’m not able to figure out.
I am new to Intercom and am having difficulty scheduling emails to be sent to new clients. I wish to send an email to a customer after they have logged into our site for the first time. The email is currently sat as a draft in Outbound > Messages. The below shows the default rules/frequency and scheduling, but I don’t know what to change it to. I would also need the email frequency to be rolling, so that the email would send automatically to any future new sign ups. Any suggestions or assistance would be great.
How can I ensure survey is not resent to users who have already responded? I m using a rule where it will sent everyday but I want to ensure it sent only to users who have not responded.
The new view seriously really reduces the visibility of the things my team needs access to fastest.
Hi Everyone, if there are any possibilities to work with the Intercom Product Tour on Salesforce Lightning pages ?When I start it I have an error “Sorry, we can't load the tools to build Product Tours on your website. Please make sure the Intercom Messenger is installed on the URL you have chosen to build your tour.”I have added the Intercom Messenger on my Salesforce home page and it is displayed correctly but it seems I am missing something, any help would be appreciated.Regards
we have a custom action that creates customer leads in Dynamics 365. I am trying to understand how long it takes from the moment a customer triggers the custom action to a successful response from the API endpoint we have created. I also understand that there is some kind of hardcoded timeout for custom actions in Intercom - I need to know the following three things - 1) how do I access logs/reports in the intercom platform for specific custom actions? 2) how long is the hardcoded timeout limit for a custom action in Intercom? 3) where does intercom store metrics on timeout errors or other issues with custom actions? there is nothing in the help articles I can find about this. I find that these questions to intercom take a few days to a week to get answers to, so asking here and via the intercom help chat in case anyone else has figured this out already.
Is it possible to return a user to a different re-useable bot (from which they came)? To give an example: (all re-useable bots) Bot A → Bot XBot B → Bot XBot C → Bot X Someone comes through Bot A and chooses an option which takes them to Bot X. Is it possible to give them an option to return to Bot A? Since other people can arrive at Bot X from Bots B and C, is there a way to tell which bot someone originally came from so if they want to return they can do that?
Hey, My self Meet Parmar work as Software developer.I need to apply custom css in intercom chatbot. I inspect chatbot and found class=”intercom-ruskli ” in that particular class need to apply css. also how to append custom css in chatbot.
So, I've been on a bit of a journey over the past couple of months, trying to understand why some weird and whacky results were coming out of our different teams, specifically around Response Times and First Response Times. TL; DR: We need to find a way to parse out the times for each regional team that accounts for their responsiveness within their assigned, core hours. Any ideas? ---------------------------------------------------------------For those interested, the background is below: Our default Office Hours were set up to cover these times (in AEST):Monday 08:30-23:59Tuesday-Friday 00:00-23:59Saturday 00:00-11:00 In addition, each regional team (APAC, AMER, EMEA) also had local hours that covered roughly 09:00-17:00 Mon-Fri. However, when we took a deep dive into the data, we were seeing big outliers where the FRT and RT would be way off. Luckily a few of these were unique enough that we could filter and see that essentially, unless the contact came in outside of the defa
Got a problem that I would appreciate help with - it seems like Intercom is loading 'too fast', specifically for tooltips on my site. I can build a tooltip, but when I preview/test it, Intercom has already loaded and errors out, telling me the CSS selector doesn't exist, when the page on our site is still loading/rendering (our page takes about 1.5 seconds - 2 seconds to load on a search result heavy page). Then, after a few seconds, the page renders and the tooltips don't load. Intercom doesn't have a 'delay tooltips until page rendering complete' type function, and when I put it on an item in the navigation bar with static content, it works fine. This issue is mostly for dynamic content - search results, etc, where they would be much more useful In know if I was using Google Tag Manager, I can delay the loading of a tag, not sure what effect this would have if we tried it with Intercom? For some background, Intercom is loading directly from the code when
I would love the ability to record a voice memo or audio file and send it as a message in the Chat. My use case is send tailored, specific, longer form messages and replies to our users, and recording an audio message is not only faster but delivers a more tailored and personal experience to our users.
