Hello! We use Intercom in our mobile app to collect feedback from users. We have a few series based on events (for example, a user has done some action and we ask how it was). But we got a few complaints from our users that sometimes Intercom disturbs them when they are in the app (for example, they do a workout and we send a question during it). I would like to find a way:1) In the Series, is there a way to send messages only when the user is offline? Let's say "Wait until offline" step.2) Is there a way to prevent the Intercom to be shown on some screens? I couldn't find any related SDK settings. Thank you very much,Stan

I want to send NPS surveys from survicate in a custom bot, after users have triggered a certain event in our app, but I want to send it if they have never answered the survey before or if it has been x days since their last answer. Is the answer to have a duplicate bot with the other rule?

I have turned off all task bots and only have one custom bot which should show to all visitors, leads, and users. But for some reason, it only sometimes shows, and what appears to be a default bot will show when the custom bot does not. Does anyone know how to make it so that your custom bot shows every time?

I'm trying to see if it's possible to automatically send a survey when a conversation is closed.

I'd like to invite users to take an external survey via email and pass their Name, Email and User_ID via the survey link featured in emails. Is this possible? Essentially, I'd like to invite our users to take this video NPS survey via intercom: https://survey.voxpopme.com/jfe/form/SV_cTlE8UVN44Xpw6W?Name={name}&Email={email}&User_ID={user_id} I'd like to invite via email and populate the URL with each user's individual data attributes from the email link. Is this possible and what should the format of the query string parameters be? I've tried a variety of cases and symbols on each attribute (e.g. '{' '{{' ) but can't seem to get the data to populate. Any help would be much appreciated.  

So the messenger is installed and in use on our platform, but I want to integrate Google Tag Manager as well, but what happens if I install messenger through GTa after it is already installed?

Just this week I had to add my apps 6 times each for each language as you can see in the screenshot below.  I had to manually translate each one and add a filter so it only shows for the user's language. My problem is since every app I add needs to be added 6 times, I could only add a total of 18 apps (3 apps x 6 languages = 18 total apps). Once I got to 18 apps total, I could no longer add more apps since it says the max total is 20 apps. I assume the reason it says 20 despite me only having 18 is that it also counts the messenger default integration?  Anyways... I have a solution to my problem1) Add multi-languages for apps. I'm aware some apps have this built-in but most don't so why doesn't intercom translate it? You guys would just need to setup an API that auto translates different text.or2) Allow me to add more than 20 apps. If I could have a limit of 100 then that would allow me to offer more languages as well as add more apps 

Hi everyone, I just found out that product tours do not work on mobile browser. I'm trying to find a way to trigger a chat message specifically for those users. Any easy way to achieve that?

How do I change the name of a segment without changing any of the filters?

We have a survey app for Intercom. If the app is inserted to the messenger home (the "Add apps to your Messenger" section in settings), the survey can only be answered once for each user. How might it be possible to allow multiple responses? Is this something we would need to enable on our end? Or is it even possible?

I have set up my Intercom settings to hide the messenger on certain pages of my site. See the attached screenshots showing the settings for Users and Visitors. That said the Messenger is still appearing on those pages. Steps to reproduce: Visit https://www.unstarvingartists.com/Click the big blue button "See How It Works"See that the messenger is present on the page (and the page path contains '/training') This is a single page application (Gatsby.js / React) so that could be at the heart of the matter. How can I configure this to work as desired? Thank you! Harry

We center our email copy and it sent left justified. Inside Intercom it has trouble allowing me to click on center. The last few weeks it sent properly to the inbox but this past (major) email we sent did not.

I have recently been working on our bot extensively, and typically we add 'end bot with follow up actions' when the step is the last in the flow. However I noticed in one 'end step' that was added, the publisher didn't add the attributes and assignments after selecting 'end bot---' but rather included them directly below the bot text bubble- It seems to be acting fine though, so I was wondering what the impact is of this? and should I bother changing it? would appreciate any help.

Hi,​I want to send users an e-mail containing a summary of a form they filled in externally, the data contains a single formatted text summary.​however intercom strips all formatting when i put that summary ​only whitespaces are left.​i tried to put the data in the messageby putting into an custom attributeby putting into an metadata with a eventformatting the summary as html and putting it into a html block but i sees it as an string​Does anyone know what else I can try? =============================update After searching for a while, there seems no direct way to do what I wanted in intercom it self. but it is possible if you use the api https://developers.intercom.com/intercom-api-reference/reference#admin-initiated-conversation

Building an ios/android app, but have a marketing website. Would like marketing website to have different chatbot as app. Is that simply a new bot, and select "show first on" for ios/android?

How can I set a custom bot to end up in a live chat with the site visitor?

How to send an email (normal ticket, not automatic email or series) to more than one user/ recipient? I tried to do it but it seems no luck. And what is the reason behind this? My company case needs to sent emails to several recipients every morning and this causes huge problem if we cannot.

Hi There, I would like to send a message to a specific user in our app trough intercom on certain situations. I was thinking of creating a custom attribute for my users and when that attribute contains a certain "value", to trigger the message. I am using Zapier to do this Has anyone tried this out ? When I try to update that attribute value with Zapier...nothing seems to happen.

How do I get a person to exit a series once they've clicked a specific link, such as the "get a quote" or "get a demo" link in a previous email within the series? I see how to get people to exit if they've clicked any link in the previous email, but not a specific link. Is this possible?

Most of the leads (except 5 or 6) have suddenly disappeared from our Contact. I've checked and none of our teams has done anything to result in this. This morning we had ~1200 leads but now there are only 7. Has someone encountered this problem before? This is very concerning.  

I can't set my series live because of invalid starting blocks, like empty e-mails and empty rules, but I have double checked all e-mails and rules. Any saviors please?
