We are using helpdesk a little differently.Example: Team leader A has 4 team members - B, C, D, E.B raises a ticket for the whole team but then leaves before it is resolved, we would like to assign this ticket to another member, A. Is this possible?

Hi, I’m setting up an onboarding checklist for new users. Users will have to go through multiple pages within our app to complete the list. I did a test run but the checklist is not opening up on the sequential pages after the initial launch. How can I make sure that the checklist is opened each time the user goes to the next page? Or does the user have to manually open the list each time he moves to another page?

I’m currently setting up workflows in Intercom to automate some of my customer interactions, but I want to make sure everything is functioning properly before launching it to all users. Is there a way to test or preview the workflows to ensure the messages, triggers, and actions are working as expected? also( Check out ), are there any best practices for testing workflows before they go live to avoid issues with incorrect message delivery or user segmentation? Any advice or tips on how to effectively test workflows would be greatly appreciated!

This is unacceptable, especially since there's no option to disable it! Please add this feature as a matter of urgency.

We're looking for ways to cut down on the number of snoozed chats we have. I’d love to hear from anyone using Intercom who has found effective practices for reducing the frequency of snoozed chats!

we would like to forward all incoming e-mails sent to our support team to intercom. this can be achieved by using the default inbound address from the e-mail forwarding settings in intercom. no problem. BUT: we do have 2 teams in our support:one team for all clients in france (french speaking only) 1 team in germany (german speaking only) we are using 2 e-mail addresses for our clients:france-support@company.comgermany-support@company.com if i forward all imcoming e-mails to my germany-support@company.com e-mail address to the intercom default inbound address, everythin is OK - i receive these e-mails as new chat in the intercom inbox. BUT: we are usinig 2 inboxes in intercom:GERMAN support teamFRENCH support team can i create 2 default inbox addresses, so that this would be possible: client in France

Hi,  We have intercom messaging via our web app (react application with intercom/messenger-js-sdk). We’d like to log in our user so we can retain conversations with them, but we don’t want to track their location or page views, is there a way to stop collecting this information?  Thanks!

Hi all, when in light mode with the new Intercom UI, there doesn’t seem to be a clear differentiation for the description section of Customer Tickets  -- is there any way this could be a bit more distinct?

Can workflows in Intercom handle conditional branching? I'm looking to create workflows that adapt based on user behavior or attributes. For example checkout, if a user clicks a specific link, they should receive one message, but if they don't, a follow-up should be sent instead. Does Intercom support this kind of dynamic flow? If yes, how can I set it up effectively? Any tips or best practices for conditional workflows would be appreciated!

I’m finding that the inconsistency in the notifications is making them unreliable. Apparently, even when the notifications setting is on, we receive notifications only when we’re not “active”. Since I have the Intercom tab open all day, I go in and check the income messages a few times a day but I would still like to receive a notification whenever a ticket has been assigned to me or whenever I am mentioned (hence my notifications setting) so that I don’t make “our customer” wait a while to be answered. Is there anyway I could receive notifications for all my mentions and assigned tickets regardless of my status (active or not)? Thank you

Hello, As soon as one of our customers creates a new ticket from a tablet or ipad, it does not follow the usual workflow and therefore arrives unassigned. How can we rectify this? Thanks 

How does everyone set up their intercom inboxes and assignment rules when you have to support customers in different time zones? We are trying to assign tickets to our support folks from customers ONLY during the times we are 'contractually' obliged to For example, if a customer is located in APAC and opens a ticket during non-APAC hours, we want that ticket to 'stay' in the inbox and get assigned to anyone. However, we want the other inboxes to still auto-assign tickets to people who are 'active.' Is this possible? We don't have dedicated team members for each inbox, but the same team works on multiple inboxes.

Intercom's API only allows me to select either the Plain or Personal templates when sending an email through the API, is there any way to send these messages using full HTML?

I just signed up for Intercom, and am having some issues.Within my own intercom dashboard, when I click the chat/messenger button to get help from Intercom itself, the chat window appears to try to open and then promptly disappears. Watch this screen capture. Not a good first impression if I can’t even get customer support from a customer support company. Ha.   With my own site integration, when i visit it (even from a separate computer) I get the attached screenshotted window when i click the messenger button, as a visitor. I have two workflows:1. One triggered by a whatsapp conversation (Customer sends their first message), where the final step is Wait 23 hours: If anyone sends a message during this time, the workflow will end.2. Another triggered by Customer sends any message (for various sources, including whatsapp).It is happening that after the customer answers the first workflow during the wait (so the workflow ends), and then sends another message, the second workflow is not being triggered.It is very weird because this same system works for other workflows triggered from messenger.¿Is there a reason why the second workflow is not being triggered?
