Dear reader,At ValueBlue we reach out to users of BlueDolphin, asking them how likely the are to recommend our tool, by the use of your sulution, Intercom. Ideally, we allow users to select: 'do not show me this message again', but as far as I can find out, that is impossible. How do we allow our users to 'no longer show' a specific ‘Intercom’-message, and thereby, improve the quality of NPS-research?Thank you in advance for letting us know. Fleur

If you’re using Intercom to market to your customers, you’re probably in the middle of building out email campaigns for Black Friday and the holidays right about now! I’d like to share some tips with you, from our Trust & Safety team, on how to best manage your email sending for these campaigns, minimise bounces/spam complaints and ensure the best inbox placement. Only message active customers When sending email messages, it’s never a good idea to message every single one of your customers at once. Some customers have disengaged and their email addresses may no longer exist or, even worse, be used as spam traps. You could also have former customers who don’t want to hear from you any more, and might mark your emails as spam. Hi there.We recently set a special notice for the past holidays and turned it off when we got back.But somehow it is still appearing. See screenshots attached.I’d really appreciate your help with this. 

I am using Intercom to send a ‘nudge’ email to a customer so I want it to follow on and be part of the same conversation that I opened to send the first email. However I can’t see how to change the ‘subject’ of the email.

I ticket the “Prevent users from having multiple inbound conversations” but i can still see the “Send us a message button” when i first open the chat.Weird this is i i go into the open conversation, and then hit back, i no longer see the button  

Hi all,We are trying to test the process manually by creating users (user or lead) and series. We have not yet completed the intercom integration with our product. We have a series of 4-5 steps for testing (no “wait” block) and we want to instantly send an email/change the tag for the user. However, the series takes at least 20-25 minutes to complete. Is this normal? What do we need to do so that the series can be completed in a shorter time?Our first tries weren't really successful, any tips for us? 

I have added a banner on my page but when I shutdown the intercom it still reappears after a few seconds.

When sending an in-app message through the API, can I also send a push notification?

Intercom is connected to mydomain.com. I have multiple subdomain like subdomain1.mydomain.com.How to configure a message only to be show on that subdomain ?I have tried with a rule "Current url starts with subdomain1.mydomain.com", but i doesn't work.Is it possible ?

Hi, I am creating a post and embedding a tour in it but it looks weird. How can I remove these highlighted unnecessary details from the post regarding the product tour? I just want a simple tour button which the users can click on. Currently, it the product appears as a separte feature for my users too.  

I am new to Intercom and am having difficulty scheduling emails to be sent to new clients. I wish to send an email to a customer after they have logged into our site for the first time. The email is currently sat as a draft in Outbound > Messages. The below shows the default rules/frequency and scheduling, but I don’t know what to change it to. I would also need the email frequency to be rolling, so that the email would send automatically to any future new sign ups.   Any suggestions or assistance would be great.

How can I ensure survey is not resent to users who have already responded? I m using a rule where it will sent everyday but I want to ensure it sent only to users who have not responded. 

Hi Everyone, if there are any possibilities to work with the Intercom Product Tour on Salesforce Lightning pages ?When I start it I have an error “Sorry, we can't load the tools to build Product Tours on your website. Please make sure the Intercom Messenger is installed on the URL you have chosen to build your tour.”I have added the Intercom Messenger on my Salesforce home page and it is displayed correctly but it seems I am missing something, any help would be appreciated.Regards

Got a problem that I would appreciate help with - it seems like Intercom is loading 'too fast', specifically for tooltips on my site. I can build a tooltip, but when I preview/test it, Intercom has already loaded and errors out, telling me the CSS selector doesn't exist, when the page on our site is still loading/rendering (our page takes about 1.5 seconds - 2 seconds to load on a search result heavy page). Then, after a few seconds, the page renders and the tooltips don't load. Intercom doesn't have a 'delay tooltips until page rendering complete' type function, and when I put it on an item in the navigation bar with static content, it works fine. This issue is mostly for dynamic content - search results, etc, where they would be much more useful In know if I was using Google Tag Manager, I can delay the loading of a tag, not sure what effect this would have if we tried it with Intercom? Hi, I have survey set up with specific user criteria but I’d like to limit the appearance of the survey to 10% of the audience. Is that existing functionality?

How do you guys handle multi-tenancy? Our app is structure much like Intercom, where our urls are presented as https://app.brand.com/{tenantId}/path. I haven't been able to get tours working where they trigger by URL, since the URL is different depending on the tenant you are signed in to. I've tried using the Company website attribute as a dynamic URL prefix, but this hasn't worked.  The main reason I'm seeking to do this, is I'm setting up a checklist where the step is meant to Launch the product tour.  How does Intercom manage to get this working?

When I edit a Live Post, I don't see the modification in my in-app Post. Why?

I've set the Audience and it contains nearly 1,800 users. I set it live 5 days ago, yet no product tours have been delivered. Any thoughts?

Hello, I want to create a tour to show a post to our users.However, there's only "insert image" and "embed video" options. So, I cannot add buttons or choose reaction type like we do in outbound posts. Is this intentional? I like that tours can be tested easily and triggered programmatically in our code. Apart from the full functionalities, what other benefits does outbound post have over product tour post? Thanks in advance!
