We created a multiple choice survey (x3 separate languages) and want to enable the “Include 'Other' option”. However, this comes by default in English only. Can we change the language on this?

As an alternative we added "Other" (translated) as fixed answer like the rest, but that doesn't let users respond with a free text. Is there better alternative?

Another question, is there a way to get the responses coded with numbers? Example: 1 for first answer, 2 for second answer etc

Hi @Constanze Wiest, It’s Mat from the Support Engineering Team 😀

For your multiple choice survey in different languages, you can indeed customize the "Other" option to support the languages you need. Here's how you can do it:

  • When setting up your survey, choose the Multiple Choice question type.
  • Enable the "Multi-select" if you want users to select more than one option.
  • Add an "Other" option, which will provide customers with a freeform text field to input their response.
  • The text for the "Other" option can be customized to match the language of your survey. This customization will be reflected based on the customers’ browser language, ensuring that the survey is localized for your users.

As for the coded responses we are not supporting them at the moment.
It might be a good idea for a Feature Request.
