We'd like to start assigning each lead a status of "warm" or "cool" based on triggers such as "Clicked a link in the last 7 days" and "Opened email" etc. I'd like this to then populate as an attribute for each user (as shown in the screenshot), and show up in the qualification menu. Is this possible? I can't find anywhere to set it up if so. We could tag them but I'd like this status to be real time and update e.g. if they've been tagged as Cool, but then click a link, they will be tagged as both Warm and Cool which isn't super helpful.
I am setting up a process by which our Support team escalates an issue to another team - for example Engineering. I want to set up a First Response SLA with Engineering based on the priority of the ticket (P1 through P4). For example, if I have a ticket to escalate to Engineering, I will use the jira integration to attach the issue to a jira project and I will add 1 tags "EngESC" (the priority of the conversation is already in a conversation field). How would I capture (in a report) how long it takes Engineering to respond to the escalation after I have added the EngESC tag? Another option would be to create another Inbox called Engineering Escalations and physically move the ticket to that box, but again, I am still looking to report on how long it takes from the time I moved it to that box to the first time Engineering responds. If there is another way to do this, I would sincerely appreciate any suggestions.
How would we trigger an experience based on the last time a user saw another experience?
Currently I have a number of product tours that the user will receive through different paths (they are not one after the other) Once the user has received all these product tours I want to tag them. Using a tag block and simply connecting them does not tell me if the logic behind it is AND/ OR. I don't want the user to get tagged after receiving just one of the product tours. So I tried setting up a rule block. But you can see how the logic is OR In the add rule section, why is there no option for 'received tour'
Quick update on how we've been helping Intercom customers automate a lot of their workflows in the inbox.... Some of our Bump customers have automated follow-ups in hundreds, or even thousands of conversations in Intercom since we launched a few weeks ago. That's tens of thousands of messages customer support folks didn't have to manually send, and it's only been a couple weeks for most of them using the app. Having so much fun with this product and would love to help anyone else here get set up on a free trial if you're interested :) https://www.intercom.com/app-store/?app_package_code=bump-by-userfeed-cqc6/p>
Hi All! I'm trying to create a button that starts a tour via the Intercom('startTour', 123); method. How can I test this without having to deploy to production first? Currently I'm only getting a 403 'This domain has not been whitelisted for the Intercom app defined in the JavaScript snippet.' I've added both 0.0.0.0 and 127.0.0.1 to my trusted sites
I thought I understood how Series results would work before I launched one, but now that I have one going I don't quite comprehend the number of people at each different step. Here are the steps I'm confused about and a brief descriptionMessage with a few links that would go to product tours.A "when delivered" transition that goes to a rule of "has clicked a link...." that is set to try to match for 3 daysA "if not matched after 3 days" transition that goes to another message called "didn't click onboarding". I'm most confused about the people in step 2 that Intercom is saying "3 trying to match". Who are those people compared to the people in step 1? I've attached a screenshot of this part of the workflow to hopefully clarify.
I’m in the process of creating a tour for the onboarding of our platform. I’m using Series to make this happen but I’m encountering a few problems and I can’t seem to find the solutions anywhere; hence this post. It seems like whenever a user (in this case it's me) finishes a Serie, I can't seem to trigger it again. Not in an incognito window, not after deleting local storage and cookies, and the workaround given to me by support unfortunately (making a change in the Series and setting it live again) failed as well. I was expecting that the Serie is triggered every time a user meets the Entry Rules.
how can i setup a recorder in masenger if the customer has difficulty to type his question he can record it and send like what's up chat
Is it possible to get list of all requests users type in the search field in our help centre?
Hi, have a few gremlins and need to know if due to updates either intercom or we made - however, noticed this morning when I went in the our office hours had been turned off in messenger? Could this be a result of updates or other users having a fiddle??
Hi there! I'm starting a Tour which is a recap of the previous Tour. Once the recap is finished, I use a Bot to ask if the user would like to view te recap again. When the answer is "No, thanks!" the flow continues, and when the user answers "Yes, please!" it should start the Recap Tour again. But as you can see in the picture/screenshot, whenever I try to connect the "Yes, please!" Rules to the Recap Tour, it says I cannot create an infinite loop. I understand that infinite loops are bad, but mine isn't an infinite loop since I created an escape with the "No, thanks!" reply option in the Bot.
How do I sent an email out to someone 1 day after the first time they visit a page? I can get it all except for the first time part. Thx
I need to disable the integration with my email account, as my transactional emails are now being sent FROM intercom, which I don't want
Do I not understand Series? Something isn't adding up. I am attempting to add Rules to a Series to accomplish the following: I send one emailIf someone doesn't open it, they go on one path and get a couple moreIf someone opens it but doesn't click the link, they go on another and get a couple more I set Rules to cover these parameters, but it automatically disengages my entire audience. So...now what? I'm just stuck making a new Series? People are just...disengaged and that's it? Can I restart it? This has been very frustrating. Second question...how the heck do I troubleshoot and test these things?! thanks
Our flow is following. Choose plan > Checkout > Purchase = "user" What we think to do is everyone who enters "Successful payment page" automatically become "user"
I want to create a new rule, for example IF VISITOR/LEAD enters X page automatically to become USER
how many emails can i send at once?
For example, if I deleted a chat block in a series with a post can I still find the stats of the chat? It seems like I lose the old stats..
I want to add an app like google calendar which must show an icon in reply area in inbox (Where emoji option is shown). Our need is more than what google calendar app does. I am new to intercom,, feeling hard to find right examples for it. Could anyone help me out to proceed with it ?
I'm attempting to add Intercom as another avenue of support to our product (we have no chat support currently). There's a cost to adding this, both in the Intercom subscription as well as the training/switching costs of a new process. We're running a pilot with Intercom to see how users interact with it. At the end of it, we'll need to decide if we ramp it up or shut it down. Does anyone have suggestions on how to measure and communicate the benefit of Intercom and if it's worth the costs? Best I've been able to think of is just general industry best practices.
For simple cases the intercom series works great. But we have quite a couple of more not standard / advanced flows, like triggering a email campaign on a specific event (triggered by backend or web-app). We now end up populating contact data fields to simulate events triggers. My question would be: Is there a way to trigger a campaign / series by using your apis? If this is not the case, can I ask if/where it is on the roadmap? Or how we can request such feature(s). Thanks in advance! Danny
Is there a way to set a display condition for an app in the messenger to only display if the user is accessing the messenger from web (vs mobile app)? In my specific scenario, I want to link to a few of our Product Tours in our messenger so people can easily find them. But since the Product Tours don't display on mobile, I only want these to be available in the messenger if the user is on web, but not if they are in mobile. So I'd like to essentially add a display condition related to the current device they're using or something.
Would love to hear some best practice around how other connectors are driving customer support performance using Intercom Reports and the KPIs within them!
