Is there a way in the Knowledge Hub to check on how successful individual external items, like FAQs, are like we used to be able to see under Automation?
Hello, Intercom community,I have a workflow setup that uses “Open Form” feature. When a user uses this workflow on our React Native mobile application, the Link for the form fails to open. With the following SSL error. `GET https://js.intercomcdn.com/card-fallback.html?card_id=***&token=***``Error: write EPROTO 4431774456:error:100000f7:SSL routines:OPENSSL_internal:WRONG_VERSION_NUMBER:../../../../src/third_party/boringssl/src/ssl/tls_record.cc:242:`What do you suggest we do to resolve this issue? We are using `@intercom/intercom-react-native` version 7.1.3.Screenshots:WorkflowAndroidiOS
I previously had Intercom installed on my website, but I recently removed the application. However, I'm still experiencing an issue where the Intercom code continues to load, causing significant delays in page loading times. Despite uninstalling the app, I'm unable to locate the files or code responsible for calling the Intercom script in my database or codebase.I've thoroughly searched through my files but can't find where the Intercom code is being loaded from. This lingering code is negatively impacting my site's performance. Can anyone provide guidance on how to completely remove all traces of Intercom from my website? Specifically:Where should I look to find any remaining Intercom code snippets? Are there any common places where the Intercom script might still be getting called from? What steps can I take to ensure Intercom is fully uninstalled and no longer loading on my pages? Are there any tools or methods to trace the origin of the Intercom script that's still loading?Any help
I have a couple of HTML Email Templates, and also tested Intercom’s own just straight out of the box to make sure, but… In the composer these are missing the Divder and Spacer options. I’m attaching a screenshot of the missing options and the other showing what it looks like if you use one not based on HTML.To get my dividers or spacing, i’m literally having to do it with code blocks and i’m going crazy and that’s not sustainable for my team either who do not know how to code. Social Links also appears to be missing, but I won’t use intercom’s anyway because of the lack of built in styling options. Please advise.
Hi! We have a custom app/API-driven flow where customers chat with us over Slack/Teams and where our agents respond to them over Intercom. When our agents have completed a ticket, we’d like to request the customer to rate the conversation over email. Is this possible?
Can I create a back-office ticket that has a template for required information?Name:Phone number:Email:
I have a dropdown menu that opens once click on "Actions," but when I use the tooltip and I need to click on the intercom icon, the dropdown menu closes and I'm not allowed to place the icon where I want. Any solution on this case?
Is it possible to change the appearance of the custom bot chat? The transparent chat options are on top of my landing page background, making them difficult to read. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Sometimes intercom associates conversations with the wrong companies. How can I correct that? Product Documentation says:Conversations and tickets are associated with companies in different ways: Conversations can be associated with multiple companies. They are associated with companies through the conversation participants. When you search by company, we will find all conversations that have at least one participant from that company. Tickets can only be associated with one company. You can choose which company a ticket is associated with when it’s created and change it later in the Help Desk. We will find all tickets that have been explicitly associated with the company you selected.
I’ve set up an email collector in a Proactive Support message to invite site visitors to sign up for our newsletter. This works, but all it does is send a message to my inbox with each user’s email address. How can I set up automation to populate the email address into my external Ghost blog as a new subscriber, and not have the message appear in my inbox at all?We already use Make (Integromat) which I figure can be used to orchestrate this integration?I’m just not sure how to trigger a Make scenario each time the email colector captures a new address in Intercom
Hi,I would like to set filters via URL. Is that possible? This is especially useful since intercom does not support filtering by company:client_name Example:suggestion of filter Thank you,
Why isn't there a way to embed an inframe in the help center? This seems like a must-have!
Our help center content often tells customers to contact support directly. However, when customers are writing in, Fin is pulling in that recommendation even though they are already in contact with Support. It is a bit redundant since they are already contacting support. Any recommendations on how to handle this? Can we block Fin from stating that at all?
HiI was wondering if anyone has stumbled upon the issue with tickets having a requirement for input, like thisbut when they are not filled in, the conversation still gets closed because we use “disable customer reply” and turned off duplicate conversations. Is there any way to define the state of a ticket so you can design a workflow to send a message to the customer: “Hey, you don’t seem to have filled in your details, do you need help with anything? when they input is required but they have not typed in anything?I know the function “collect customer” reply in the workflow can be used for replies, but not for tickets that are not filled in by the customer. Is there any way to track this and nudge the customer based on it?I am grateful for any tips or help!
Hi, So, we have a case where virtual servers can mean different things to different customers. A customer can ask how do I back up virtual machines, and Fin suggests an answer on how to do it for Nutanix while the customer is using our solution for VMware. Is there a way we can feed customer data into a Fin workflow so that Fin can guess the intent of the question and provide a more accurate answer?
We need to automatically generate reports with comments for agents or admins, but the Intercom Excel report files do not contain the roles.Could you send us Excel files with the role information for each user?
How can I sort companies alphabetically by name? I want to identify duplicate companies, but I can’t sort them by name.
Hi! Is there anyone else that finds the ‘User Notes’ or ‘Lead Notes’ too plain? We would love to leverage this feature, but it lacks any formatting options, hypertext links, etc. We don't use any CRM outside of Intercom and consider this feature very limited.Would you find it useful if the feature was more advanced?
Did you know you can add formatting to User/Lead notes using HTML and Markdown language? Its really useful when you want certain notes to standout.Check out the images below to see what it looks like. I’ve also included the formatting in a code block so you can try it out yourself. The below has HTML and Markdown elements in it.Headings<h1>Heading level 1</h1> <h2>Heading level 2</h2> <h3>Heading level 3</h3> <h4>Heading level 4</h4><h5>Heading level 5</h5><h6>Heading level 6</h6>TextI just love <strong>bold text</strong>.Italicized text is the <em>cat's meow</em>.This text is <em><strong>really important</strong></em>.Lines can be done 3 ways---___***Blockquotes> This is a blockquote---> This is a blockquote>>> This is nested a blockquote***> #### The blockquote has a heading>> - bullet point 1> - bullet point 2>> *With* more format
In this example (Excel report), the comment 'Simplicity' comes from a user Fábio with ID '4740'. However, in Intercom, we have a different username and domain with the same ID. Yesterday, during the review of the May comments, we noticed 4 cases with this issue. Can you fix the problem or provide me with a correct Excel report?
We would like to end the product tour with a step pointing to the chatbot. Is there a way to do that?
Hello, I am not sure if I’m missing something but I encountered a bizzare behaviour using Intercom classes when trying to login an Identified user. Preface: I’m using Qt for Android and integrating Intercom purely on the Android side. In my login function, I get passed user attributes from downstream. These include base attributes as well as additional custom attributes. In the end I end up with something like.UserAttributes userAttributes = builder.build();Log.i(TAG, "Intercom login userattributes: " + userAttributes.toString()); Which prints out: I MyIntercom: Intercom login userattributes: UserAttributes{attributes={name=Last, First, email=email@provider.com, userId=001abc}, customAttributes={attr1=value1}, companies=[]} Then I tried to create a Registration class to perform login as:Registration registration = Registration.create().withUserAttributes(userAttributes); But this registration class does not have email nor userId populated? I already called the withEmail() and withUserI
I’d like to be able to assign a certain collection of Snippets to only be offered for specific audiences/those with specific user tags, much like we are able to set view rules for Help Center articles. Is this possible for Snippets, or in the works?
I’m also interested in fetching other report metrics (Median response time, New Conversations) from my account to my app and I’m confused about the API Reporting Docs. I’m attempting to use the Node SDK. I’m not sure if I’m structuring the query correctly or using the proper conversations methods, but I’m getting an undefined in my console. The env variables are properly being read, I’ve tested them in my console. In the code below, I’m trying to get conversation rating from the past 7 days. import { Client, Operators } from "intercom-client";import * as dotenv from "dotenv";dotenv.config();const client = new Client({tokenAuth: { token: `${process.env.ACCESS_TOKEN}` },});client.useRequestOpts({baseURL: ‘https://api.eu.intercom.ioconversations’,});// Get today's dateconst today = new Date();// Calculate the date 7 days agoconst sevenDaysAgo = new Date(today.getTime() - 7 * 24 * 60 * 60 * 1000);// Convert the date to a Unix timestamp (in seconds)const sevenDaysAgoTimestamp = Math.floor(s
When I’m creating a numbered or bullet list, I sometimes need to add a callout in-line. I have tried Shift + Enter, but the callout button is disabled.I have also pressed enter to “exit” the list. I can insert a callout here, but it treats the list as a new one and starts over at 1. instead of continuing the previous numbers. How can I add a callout to a list and still continue the list?
