Using Intercom for internal communication


Hey!!! All good?

 

Has anyone started or already developed the integration in the intercon with an internal communication between users? That is, a normal chat communication (between users) of the company?

@Daiane Neves do Nascimento  can you share more about your use case for using Intercom in this way?

 

Are you using Intercom with your customers and also wanting to use it internally or are you looking to use Intercom only for internal support of your own company users?

 

I think if you are looking for and end user chat tool where any user can chat with another user, Intercom isn't really built for this purpose and I'd recommend keeping Intercom for support where you needed a group of your team offering support to the larger customer base or even supporting internal company users who have requests or needs from departments of your team.

 

Check out something like getstream.io for example in this case where you can integrate chat into your app and keep the support channels open and reporting on those activities clean for the team.
