Intercom Product Area

Hey folks, I have a team with several agents and they use Round Robin system to get the conversations. Sometimes one person gets the "bad ones" that take some time to resolve so they can not address the new ones fast enough while other agents might get free.  I was thinking if I set Inbox Automation rule, for a conversation that is not replied to for X minutes, and assign it to the same team it was already assigned to, will this trigger Round Robin again and get this conversation to the next in line (hopefully not the overloaded person). I'm aware of Balanced option, but that does not really solve re-assignment of unanswered conversation (it just gives new conversations to less loaded agent).

In the web app, I can search for an article and get results, but clicking on any article leads to a blank page

We are looking for a person or company that could provide services in the setup and implementation of a world-class customer onboard experience using the Intercom Product Tour product. We currently use the Support and Marketing products are well. We will be launching a new product in the Work Management space in the upcoming weeks and are ready to hire a resource now. How can I get sound notification on mobile app (iOS app) when a visitor comes on the website?Or there is no such option, and I can only get notified when the visitor initiates the chat?

Is there a limit to inbox storage?  For example:  How much can your inbox store in total? or,  How much data can one inbox conversation store?

I am able to create posts that reappear every time a user navigates to a particular URL, but for some reason the banner will only appear once. Here is a screenshot of the Banner that would not appear more than 1x per user. Notice I have the frequency set for every time a person matches the rules. If you have any suggestions on how to fix this, please let me know. The banner is better than posts or chats for page issues. 

We receive a large amount of requests from the Email channel. I have a set of rules in place to tag conversations and wish to provide Buttons with potential self serve answers for requests arriving via Email.  

I'm looking to run a timing test for one of my custom bots. I'd like to have it appear on certain pages of my website but also test WHEN the bot appears. It doesn't appear I can do that. I can only have OR logic or AND logic for my bot rules. Is there any way I can combine and/or logic here? Also, when I'm running an A/B test on a bot, is there a way to create different rules for the tests I'm running? I don't see a way to do this.  Thanks!

how do I decide which bot to use if I want a path based answer system in place for self-help for customers?

I need help with setup and automation. Is there an Intercom expert I can book time with to help me get started?

I would like to: Snooze conversation for 7 days and the close them automatically. I made a macro saying "snooze for one week and add tag" but when I made an automation saying: if customer is unresponsive for 7 days if tag is XX then close the conversation. That last part does not work.  What am I doing wrong?   

To put you in context, we have an app where we want to show an onboarding tour the first time the user enters, but this user could be type A or type B, so depending on which is the type of the user, we want to load the Tour A or Tour B. How could we handle this? Thanks a lot! :)

We have been building out Product Tours to give our customers a full onboarding tour through our software. To initiate the tours in the right place, we have used a lot of 'current page rules'. However, they do not want: the tours are not triggered at all. To provide you with a little more detail, our tours should trigger on each new URL that ends with a specific parameter. This tour should then be shown once to this user. Although the preview within the Intercom interface works fine, and some older tours do too, these new ones are never triggered. An example can be found in the screenshot.

Some customers will open multiple chats and only use one for interacting with us. We would like for you to only be able to start one chat at a time. Has anyone done this and can help?

We have some cases where we have several people log in with one user login, and we find sharing the same help center all over again, as they cannot find it back anymore.  Is there an option to set an article as a favorite? Thank you tons!

We are a service selling our product white-label. Therefore our product portal can offer custom URLs to our partners. If we could do the same for the Help Center, that would be a game changer for us!

Hi all, we just turned on the Suggest Help Articles Task Bot for both users and leads and in the first week of use we are finding its article suggestions to be way off. It seems to be suggesting just our oldest/highest viewed articles without taking into account keywords (see below for an example).  I've already read Intercom's "Let users help themselves with smart suggestions" and "Share articles to answer questions faster". I've done the suggestions about writing relevant articles with the word

Is there a way to not show previous chats on Intercom? IE, eliminate this area?

I have a custom bot as a part of my series. It includes two paths, one where the user can send a question and the other where they can opt-in to watch a product tour. I see an option to deliver my next message (in my case, a banner) after the previous message was sent and "completed" but what does "completed" mean? Because one of the paths of the custom bot is the tour, does this mean it will send the banner ONLY after the tour was completed?

Hi, our web app has a static URL, which does not change even if users navigate to various sub-pages/features. Could you please advise how to trigger different product tours depending on the feature, not the URL?
