Is there any way to create a public app which can be used in workflow but appears in the "Add integration section" dropdown instead of the  “send an app dropdown”. I want to build an app which can be used as integration, and the app can return some data which can be used as input in other nodes in the workflow. Is there any way to achieve that? I don’t want to use custom actions for this.

Hello,I have a custom action that should take as input the the text which is currently in the composer but not yet sent (neither as a note nor as a public message).Is it possible? either via attributes or Rest API.

HelloCurrently, I use the Retrieve a Conversation API to get conversation details.https://developers.intercom.com/docs/references/2.7/rest-api/api.intercom.io/conversations/retrieveconversationThis API returns a list of tags associated with the conversation, but it doesn't include information about which specific tag belongs to which conversation part. Could you please advise on how to determine which tag belongs to which conversation part? Thanks. 

We created a multiple choice survey (x3 separate languages) and want to enable the “Include 'Other' option”. However, this comes by default in English only. Can we change the language on this?As an alternative we added "Other" (translated) as fixed answer like the rest, but that doesn't let users respond with a free text. I have configured a product tour for my SaaS application, which I trigger on the frontend using the JS API: Intecrom('startTour', 'tourId').The product tours are shown to select users, and I want to implement custom logic for those who complete the tour—such as redirecting them to a different page or displaying specific text. Therefore, I need a way to detect when a user has finished the product tour.Is there a method to track when a user completes all steps of the product tour? For instance, can I set up a JavaScript callback like Intecrom('onProductTourCompleted', { ... some custom logic })? Alternatively, are there other ways to capture the event when users finish the product tour? RegardsDarshan Hiranandani 

How do you install Intercom on Wix? I've tried adding the JavaScript to the custom code section on Wix, but it didn't work. I also downloaded the Intercom via certified code from the app market, but that didn't work either. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Stripe sync stopped working around 9am Thursday morning for us. Before that any user who had a stripe account would sync user attributes in Intercom, including stripe_id, stripe_plan_price, and stripe_subscription_status. But now that has suddenly stopped, which breaks a lot of our rules and segments. I tried turning sync on and off but that did not solve the issue.

We migrated the SDK version from 15.0.0 to 15.5.0 and then saw the error described in the header. In 15.0.0, our MAIN/LAUNCHER activity, which processes information about clicks, was initially opened, than it opens Intercom Chat. After migrating to 15.5.0, this behavior broke. The problem is that our activity opens immediately after the intercom chat activity opens. This leads to confusion for the user. I found that when using Firefox with smaller screen size (tablet and mobile view), the messenger widget does not show up like desktop. Not only on my application, but also any website that use Intercom.My current environment:OS: macOS 14.6.1 Browser: Firefox 131.0 (aarch64)

Now with default settings intercom send notification about each action status change in the system.Any way to reduce the number? send notifications only on some statuses changes?or maybe there is option to disable notifications but somhow share with customer ticket number ?

Hello, I have created a private app. It’s a simple integration app and not any canvas or messenger app. I want to use this app in my workflows but when I select the “send an app” menu button from dropdown , my private app doesn’t appear there.

When opening the keyboard to type into an Intercom messenger convo, the keyboard is hiding the text entry, making it impossible for users to see what they’re typing. Has anyone found a workaround?

Is there any way to set up a process so that when a back-office ticket is set to “Resolved”, the linked conversation is automatically re-opened? Ideally, I would also like for that conversation to be re-assigned if the original assignee is set to Away & Reassigning, if possible. So the flow is:Agent speaks to customer Agent escalates issue to internal team by raising a back-office ticket Agent informs customer and closes conversation Back-office ticket is changed to “Resolved” and closed Original conversation is automatically re-opened so that the agent can inform the customer If that agent is no longer available, the conversation goes back into the queue and is assigned to the next available agent

I would like for it to be easier to add or customize survey questions at the end of conversations. Today you can ask the CSAT question and get open-ended feedback and that’s it. You can also use proactive support to send additional surveys but that requires additional steps. I would really like to be able to add to the flow additional questions to ask after the CSAT question. For instance, a flow of CSAT question>Issue Resolution question>open-ended feedback.

Hi. Creating a new topic as the existing ones about this are quite old.I’m new to Intercom (used HubSpot before). My customer support team used to receive all messages on MS Teams. I’d been debugging an issue with our React Native app’s implementation of the `loginUnidentifiedUser` + `loginUserWithUserAttributes` combo, and noticed that while the Android module has a few descriptive cases before being generically handled by `IntercomError.getErrorMessage()`, the iOS module simply throws a blanket error for all failures.Is there a reason why actual request errors aren’t being bubbled up through these methods? For example, if the login failed due to the Identity Verification check, I feel like it would be reasonable to include that and the related code in the failure callback.

If a customer says ‘Hi Sarah’ I want it to automatically get assigned to Sarah. However, I ALSO want it to be assigned to sales so that sales is credited for the response in the data tracking.
