I am wondering if it is possible to update either a Lead Data Attribute field (People Data Attribute) or Qualification Data field based on if the field is null starting from when a visitor sends a message.  For example, setting custom attribute “Chat ID” with value “ID” from the Conversation Attributes section when visitor sends their first message. Custom attribute “Chat ID” from Qualification Data“ID” from the Conversation AttributesOr as an alternative, if its possible to use a data field from Conversation Attributes in sync settings for Salesforce (currently I do not see any of those fields in the selection list in the settings).

One of our main offices located in Norway recently tried to use the translate feature in AI compose only to find it wasn’t an available option despite being seemingly in every other component that uses languages. Could you add more languages to the AI compose feature?

Hi Intercom team,we at Center just doing our initial integration with your product and running into some problems with iOS SDK. In the documentation we found the following:“Surveys don't currently support real-time mobile events, meaning your app users won't receive the survey immediately after the event happens. The survey will only send when a user update is triggered: A user launches your app, A user closes your app and then opens it after a few moments, or By updating the user via our mobile SDK methods. ”So in our app we are trying to present Intercom survey at a specific point in time when a user performs a specific action. We did create and registered a specific event for this. According to the documentation above, a user update should force the survey to be presented. However, no matter what we tried, it did not work for us on iOS. It does work on Android though. Can you please clarify if this functionality is supported on iOS? Maybe there is an existing bug or a specific w

I want Intercom to auto-assign incoming tickets to the Client Success role from Salesforce Account Teams. Can this be done with a custom field or workflow automation?

 There are some required fields which are not supported for this issue type. Do you mind helping me understand the process to linking up our JIRA instance with Intercom so we can create as well as link issues direct from Intercom?

Hi,My company uses Salesforce Account Teams. One of the roles is “Client Success”.I would like whomever is assigned to that role, to be considered the ‘company owner’ in intercom, so that incoming conversations / tickets will be auto-assigned to that person. Putting it another way, I wish there was a field in intercom called “Owner” and I could assign that team to that owner. I could not find such an intercom field. Perhaps this can be done with a custom field + automation workflow?

Has anyone ever seen an issue with the conversations API returning the wrong type for a conversation part? I’m working with a customer and we’re seeing an issue where sometimes the API returns conversation parts with a type = “assignment” but it should be a “comment” or a “note”. I have an example I can share if that is helpful.

Hi there! I have created a product tour and I’m struggling as it won’t get any impressions from external users.  I created a product tour with a similar configuration as many other times before (in which I had no issues). The triggers used are:When to send: (empty)  Where to send: contains “keyword”. Using one keyword included in the URL of interest.  Audienc: UsersAfter this I get an estimated 85k users that can see the product tour. However, after 2 weeks I got only 11 views from just internal emails in the company. So I’m not entirely sure on what’s going on. I have deactivated all other tours in case there could be any conflicts. And using this same sonfiguration before I got thousands of views in just hours.  Can you please help me with this? My company recently switched over to Intercom and we made the decision to utilize the Data Sync by Hubspot app so we could pipe user / company data back and forth between Intercom and Hubspot. However, what I failed to realize is that we aren’t able to sync conversations and tickets in Intercom into Hubspot activities. I see that this is possible with Intercom’s Hubspot app integration. I’m wondering if it’s possible to utilize both apps in tandem, however, my main hesitation is that I see the potential to have user data duplicated. Or if a user already exists in Hubspot, do the conversations auto-sync to that contact? Any guidance on this is much appreciated.

I want to send email with attachment to customer. Conversation should be created, when email is sent.I am using REST Api Message endpoint with flag create_conversation_without_contact_reply: true.Everything works fine except I can’t add an attachment.Is there any way how to add an attachment to message?

I can see the timestamps of when messages are sent, but users cannot. This would be useful to demonstrate first response times to users, and have a way to record the timings of the messages. 

 We need to create a flow that after a while if my teammate does not respond it is escalated to another person or team, I don't know if it is possible to do it through rules

I want to exclude users from a series who are currently in a certain other series. Is 'has entered' the other series adequate or do I also need to specify 'have not completed/disengaged/exited' the series?

I’m reconnecting with some customers and when I open a new conversation(email) Grammarly isn’t working. If I reopen the new conversation with the customer the same way I get the email I started👍, but now Grammarly works for the conversation. Mac, Chrome, Grammarly, and Intercom are all up to date.
