Hello everyone.I'm experiencing an MQRC 2035 (Authorization) error when integrating Intercom with our messaging queue system. The setup involves deploying an application with MQ Client Connection Properties, specifying all necessary details.While trying to resolve the issue, I reached out to RabbitMQ support to ensure our configurations were correct. Despite Intercom running as the root user and the queue manager using default mqm users, the connection still fails. The error message indicates a failure to connect to the queue manager on the specified hostname and port.Has anyone encountered this issue while integrating Intercom with a messaging queue? What steps did you take to resolve it?Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, im currently creating an Chatbot Workflow. My maingoal is to split the current workflow in 2 parts. I want to do this to clean it up a bit.The Workflow asks the User if hes a Customer or a driver and this is where i want to split it. Id like to have one workflow for customers and one for Drivers.Any Ideas on how to implement this?You can see the current Workflow on the attached picture. 

Hi,In our application, we initialize Intercom on page load. When user logs in, we shutdown the existing Intercom instance and boot again with user details. The messenger is loaded through a custom launcher. When the messenger show() is triggered, it seems the messenger doesn't even begin to load for quite some time as seen from the Network tab in dev tools. This makes it looks like as if the customer support chat is not working in our application, which is frustrating. Could you please help us debug this issue? We use the @intercom/messenger-js-sdk package. 

We were able to go on Phone queue but whenever we receive calls , agents cant be heard. All headset and sound setup were working fine. tried basic t/s but issue persists.

I have successfully been able to integrate Product Tour for most of the platform. However,  have a section within my platform where a workflow needs to be completed by the users.The workflow comprises of 4 steps and it’s a wizard style experience. all the 4 steps have the same URL and just the content on the page changes upon completing a step but the URL remains same.Issue: The pointers which are meant to appear on the step 2 of the workflow appears on the Step 1 itself. The CSS elements are not visible on the Step 1 but still the pointers appear.I have tried attributing the HTML with intercom <div> as well, the buttons are even highlighted in Pink within the tour editor after the attribution. It means the attribution worked, Despite this, the pointers appear on Step 1 instead of Step 2.  

We have setup intercom as our helpdesk for our Shopify ecommerce business. Customers who are logged in to their shopify account are getting excellent replies from FIN, with order information etc. But when a customer chats to FIN and they are not logged in, they only get generic knowledge center information. What is the best workflow / solution to make sure Visitors log into shopify before chatting?Can FIN prompt the user to log in at the start of a visitor chat? Can FIN authenticate the user just with the email / order number? We’re also looking for someone to review our whole setup and offer some improvements, please get in touch if you can help us out. Thanks! Scott 

Hey everyone 👋 We’ve been reworking our Knowledge Base structure as our platform has expanded, and I’d love to hear how others have approached this. We’ve recently rolled out several new core products, so it made sense to create a category (mini hub) for each one.However, we also have tools that span all products - for example, an email tool that’s used across multiple product types. My current idea is to move these shared tools into a separate category like “Platform Tools and Features.” The tricky part is that while the email tool touches most of the products, its functionality has small nuances depending on the product. I’m torn between: Keeping all email content centralised in one place nested under a tools section e.g. having an email section (simpler to maintain, easier to find)vs. Referencing it within each product section for context (but risking duplication and confusion - for example, users searching for email help might find multiple references across different categories

Hello all, we have a number of use-cases where we need to engage with 3rd parties for “shared customers” in a form of “ticket sharing”.Current practice is to use a side-conversation and trigger an email (which is likely a conversation part) to that 3rd party, and then responses from that 3rd party link back to the side conversation.Whilst the above sort of works, it is not the most intuitive experience as it is not obvious that there has been a response (you have to open each ticket, navigate to side conversation, see a traffic light indicating a new email).The bigger challenge is this does not consistently work (it does with Zendesk as it was levelling feature to match what they do), but does not for SPRINKLR and Service Cloud where the responses to side conversations create a whole new disconnected conversation, resulting in additional handling and bringing together of conversations.Has anyone done much work on how to connect 3rd party systems and “share tickets”? Since the upgrade to 9.*.* of version for React Native Intercom (https://github.com/intercom/intercom-react-native), we can no longer build and compile our Expo React Native app for iOS.Somehow the Intercom upgrade introduces a failure where C++ files are not correctly mapped during compiling. I have discoverd instances in conversation_parts where the conversation_part.status is in a snooze state even if the part_type is a comment type. How is this possible, because according to this article (https://www.intercom.com/help/en/articles/6564538-snooze-a-conversation) “If you send a reply message in a 'snoozed' conversation that's assigned to you, it will not automatically 'unsnooze'/reopen the conversation.”“If someone else sends a reply, adds a note, or updates an attribute in a 'snoozed' conversation assigned to you, it will be automatically 'unsnoozed'/reopened.” So How come a conversation remain in an snoozed state even after there is a comment from either admin or customer?A comment part type is defined as: Standard reply from customer or admin to a conversation (defined at: https://developers.intercom.com/docs/references/1.4/rest-api/conversations/conversation-part-model#conversation-part-types)  These are the part-types appearing with snoozed state1    comment2    conver

I want to suggest a 2 features to articles: 1. A checkbox that allow us to  exclude a single page for indexing. Ex: pages with contact information. Those pages should be in help center and also be available for FIN, but not for bots. With a single disallow to be added in the robots.txt is enough.2. If you type an email or a URL, and you don't link it, when you save it's linked automatically and if you want these information to be excluded for crawlers you can't.

Is it possible to configure the Switch from Messenger to WhatsApp functionality so that, depending on the brand the customer is interacting with, they are offered a different WhatsApp number? Or is this something that might be available in the future?

Hi Intercom Community,I’m trying to fine-tune how FIN handles unresolved issues. Specifically:Is there a way to set a limit on how many times FIN tries to resolve a customer’s question before escalating? Can FIN automatically hand off to a human agent after those attempts?I want to make sure customers aren’t stuck in a loop if FIN can’t help. Ideally, it would try a few times, then gracefully pass the conversation to a person.Has anyone set this up successfully? Hi!I have a series with two paths that take users to different checklists depending on their experience level. I wanted to review each checklist’s performance to see if our recent changes improved completion rates.If I check the Series Performance Summary Report (checklists section), I get:Total sent (The total number of checklists that have been sent and displayed to users within this Series.): 61,734 Completion rate (The percentage of checklists sent within this Series where the recipient completed the whole checklist.): 23.5% from previous 55 days (14,528 unique completions)If I check the checklist individually, I get these numbers: Checklist 1: Total sent: 16,021 Completion rate: 4.93% Checklist 2: Total sent: 4,437 Completion rate: 2.84% The amount of checklists sent are very different (from 61k to 20k if I add the individual numbers), and the individual percentages of completion are low and become way higher if considering both.Which data should I rely on to measure the impact

Hi, I am stuck on a workflow automation which attempts to apply a tag to a person, rather than the specific conversation.  Context:  We have some leads and customers who are requesting info for a specific student discount we offer. When these requests arrive, we set the ticket type to discount request. After this type has been set,  I want to automatically apply a tag to the person, not the conversation. I am easily able to tag the conversation, but tagging the person doesn’t work.    The goal is to tag the person, and then we can email this group as a cohort in future for new offers.  This is the automation, and it doesn’t work atm:  Any ideas what the blocker is?  Or how I should be doing this instead of above? Thanks very much for any help! Matt

Hello there! Has anyone here any suggestions for an app to integrate on top of Intercom to give our customers possibility to have anice list overview of their chat/conversation/ticket history, and where they can search in theit conversation history, etc.?

I would like my outgoing emails inside the active correspondence to be sent not from the personal intercom addresses for each agent or personal email address, but from one general email address. For example, inside the conversation, there are 3 agents participating. A, B and C. I would like all the messages to be sent not from 3 different addresses but from one company address. Like support@mail.com . On my workspace end I should still be able to distinguish the messages that were sent by agents A, B, C. Is it possible?

Hey everyone 👋We’re currently using Fin as the first line of support, handling all incoming customer conversations.It works great — once a human agent joins the conversation, Fin automatically stops responding, which makes perfect sense in most cases.However, there are many situations where the agent realizes that Fin could actually continue handling the customer effectively after their short intervention.It would be super helpful if agents could reactivate Fin in a conversation — ideally with a simple button or command — so Fin can pick up right where it left off.Is there a way to do this today? Hi all, we’re pretty new to Fin AI & chatbot setup in general, so we might be missing something, however, I’m seeing massive differences in how Fin responds to questions in the Preview environment versus the actual live environment on our website.As an example – one of our users asked a fairly basic question about our service, and Fin AI responded with “Sorry, I couldn’t find information related to your question.” However, when I pasted the same question into the Fin AI preview (logged in as an organizational user within the Intercom admin dashboard), it returned a comprehensive response and fully answered the user’s question.Currently, we have Fin AI enabled for all Users, Leads, and Visitors via Intercom Messenger only, and have it trained on all of our published support articles, as prompted via the Simple Deploy process.I’ve scoured all available Fin AI settings within Intercom to no avail, and I’m not able to find another community thread about this topic.
