Hey Everyone,I have a question. We have a few customers that CC everyone humanly possible when they submit an inquiry. They add our support email, several of our employees, several of their employees, sometimes even a kitchen sink (with an email address). Due to this when we reply its chaos. We are currently manually removing the cc’d emails but the communication is very frequent (dozens of times a day). Is there a workflow we can create that IF an email comes from say BOB and his 37 cc’d friends, we can remove those 37 friends automatically before we reply to the inquiry?

A majority of our users have their app in dark mode, and the native help center feels out of place when opened.

Is there an easy way to get a custom report of conversations with linked tickets? The data export for conversations does not include any columns on tickets like ticket ID, etc., and the data export for tickets does not include a linked conversation ID column. 

Our product is an interactive design tool and I want to find a way to create a Product Tour where users can interact with our app then click Next to advance rather than the default behavior where they can’t do anything except click Next.Using the Click on Element method to advance doesn’t work because our elements require multiple clicks to complete the interaction (e.g. dragging and dropping)I’m considering building a daisy chain of product tours where one tour ends, there is a button in a banner to go to the next one, and then the next tour begins. This seems overly complex though so I’d love to know if anyone has a simpler solution. 

Is it possible to change the number of characters available in the Help Center Footer?There seems to be a hard limit that is not allowing us to add our standard footer to the help centre

Hello , I’d like to ask if i can integrate my own chatbot into intercom so i can assign some conversations to be answered by my bot

I’m currently integrating the intercom messenger widget in a SPA written with React (tsx files).The application is currently executing window.intercom(“boot”, window.intercomSettings) whenever url changes.Is there some clever way to check if the messenger widget is already booted as I don’t want to reboot the intercom widget every time a user navigates around in my application but instead call window.intercom(“update”, window.intercomSettings).

I’ve created a Fin AI custom action that calls an API endpoint which returns the following response: {"shiftDate": "2024-09-24","company": "Global Solutions","hourlyRate": "$20.11","location": "https://www.google.com/maps?q=-56.464281,-27.830251"} I have a workflow defined that allows users to type in their questions. However, when I ask:"When is my next shift?" "What's the hourly rate for my next shift?"Fin successfully triggers the custom action, but it doesn't generate an answer. Instead, it says it couldn't find any answer for the question.What am I doing wrong?

How can I create automatic redirects to a specific command? Currently, I have attempted several methods. I have created two workflows. In one, messages are checked by “Message content is”, “Message content contains”, “Message content contains word”, and if it does, the message is redirected to a specific destination. In the other workflow, a specific field is marked that stores the text "book_here", and if this field is present in a message, it is automatically redirected. However, neither of these methods has worked perfectly.What is the best approach for me to take to ensure automatic transmission of messages? I have only two ways to determine the messages that need to be reassigned to the specific team - this is the field in the dialog that stores the text "book_here" and the text of the message, which is always the same.

I have a website example.com with a “Support” button in the footer. The button is a link to example.com/help. On the server, that redirects to help.example.com (intercom). We’ve set that up following the custom domain instructions and this all works fine.  However, if the user is signed in on our site, I’d like to pass the information about the signed-in user to intercom. How can I do this WITHOUT loading any client JS on our site. There should be a way to add a cookie server side on the help.example.com route that identifies the user but I don’t see any doc that explain how to do this. Any help would be appreciated 🙏

Hello! How can I build a series with two split audiences based on the device they're on ( mobile and desktop)? 

I have a common use case where customers send email attachments that our service processes for them, but they often send these to our general inbound  support email inbox rather than to a dedicated inbox here they’ll be auto-processed from. Is it possible to set up an Intercom automation that will recognise when an incoming email has a PDF attachment and is from a known customer, and will auto-forward that email with the attachment?

Hello, I have configured different types of custom bots. In some cases, I need the bot to create a note on the conversation which tells my agents which resources to check and if they need to call the customer right away. I haven’t been able to find the option to add a note in the settings, so I am wondering if that’s possible at all. Thank you in advance for your help and guidance!Cheers

How can I determine the users who have completed the welcome product tour and send a proactive message only after the product tour, so that the message doesn’t show up at the same time with the product tour?

  Is there a way for a custom action to interact with an application in a help desk?  For example, I have a created custom action and a created and added application in a tab. During a conversation, if I activate the custom action on a message(which contains the order number), a request goes to the backend. Can I somehow trigger the application in the current conversation from the backend, passing and displaying the order data there?

Hi, I use intercom to chat with my clients on android and iOS. I have noticed that after a few days, on the android device we get clients being prompted to send a message instead of continuing with the previous conversation. is there a way to prevent users from opening these new conversations? I have turned it off in messenger setttings and mobile SDKs but even still after a few weeks, the recent conversations changes to send us a message and starts a new conversation all together

EDIT: I’m silly and missed the most obvious thing. Turns out the import is different for Remix apps.import should be this:import {Intercom} from '@intercom/messenger-js-sdk';I’m embedding the an Intercom messenger onto a Remix (react) app. Just following along with the installation instructions it states that I should place this snippet in the client side code of the Component. To start with, Hubspot is telling me to ask Intercom for help, and Intercom tells me they can’t do anything and to ask Hubspot.I am trying to sync new companies created in Hubspot to Intercom. In Hubspot, for some reason I have two integrations (this may be problematic, I don’t know).The “Built by Intercom” Intercom integration won’t let me edit anything.The “Built by Hubspot” integration is editable. When I configure it, it says that thousaands of companies are in sync, a handful are failed, and a handful are excluded (this is expected). In Intercom I have only a few dozen companies in my contacts section (this is unexpected). When I look further, I see specific companies and see that the system thinks they are indeed synced. I look for those specific companies and do not find them. To summarize so far, the Hubspot integration tells me everything looks great, but in Intercom, I don’t see the companies.To make matters more complicated, but to provide another hint at the problem, I have

Hi! We’re trying to resolve an inconvenience in our Salesforce org where if a customer replies to an Intercom conversation via email, their response creates a new case in Salesforce instead of getting added to the existing case. I could set up a flow in Salesforce to associate these new email responses to their existing case if we could get the conversation Id into the email subject. Is there a way to do this? Or has anyone else found a better way to tackle this in Intercom/Salesforce?

Is there a way to setup separate intercom conversation flows per a specific site page.. i.e., dedicated/specific operator, unique message flow, etc. 

Hey everyone! I have a new product that we are in the process of finishing up to release to customers soon, and I wanted to launch a message to segment of customers to signup for a waitlist to use the product. Intercom has done this recently for Fin Copilot.  How can I create this? I was thinking of sending out a post to the segment, but I need to collect a yes or a no to join the waitlist. Then I want to pick people in order of who clicked “yes” first and slowly release to that list of users.  Any ideas?
