We want the full name of the sender to appear instead of "sender_first_name from company_name"

Is it feasible to have separate bots for each page or URL of my website, including articles and news? If this is achievable, should I create separate bots, articles, and news sections for each part of my website, or are there alternative methods to accomplish this?

I want to run a custom bot with a caveat that my rep is able to take control of the conversation anytime i.e. even if the custom bot has not completed the entire sequence.  So essentially the chat is assigned to a rep but as the rep is currently unavailable the bot is interacting using the predetermined sequence. As soon as the representative becomes available, he takes over, the custom bots stops its sequence and the rep handles the entire conversation. How do we implement this. And what functions we can leverage not limiting to custom bot, inbox automation rules etc.

We want to provide option to the Support Engineer before he closes the conversation, whether a Case should be created for the conversation or not. For this we wanted to show up a button which the Support Engineer will select before he closes the conversation. This button or input should be seen only by the Support Engineer and not by the Customer. How can we achieve this?

I am in the process of creating a large help center with long articles. We are organizing many of the articles (as suggested) with anchored links to the Heading 1s within the article at the article’s beginning. But creating the TOC  at the top is very time consuming as you have to enter the TOC text, scroll down to copy the anchored link, scroll up to link the heading, scroll down again, etc. Is there a faster way to do this - i.e. - autogenerate a TOC for all heading 1s or at the very least, copy the heading text and link at the same time? 

I am trying to create a custom object and no matter what I type I get this error every time I hit save. I have tried different object names and always get the same result. It even happened during the walkthrough tutorial. Any ideas of how I can fix it? Thanks in advance.

Can able to send images but when i try to send Screenshots in Pixel, Some of Samsung devices, It failing?  We are using v14.0.0 and kotlin version is 16.1.0.

I am able to use the tools to specify the URL and add tour steps to test the feature, but the preview does not show up. I’ve tried changing the audience, even making it available to everyone (Users, Visitors, and Leads), but the preview still does not display. Is there perhaps a setting on my user profile, a permission or role, that needs to be adjusted?Thanks!

Hi guys, I’m new here and just getting familiar with Intercom. A bit of background on us. We have a multisided platform. One product is “Service Provider” and the other is “Consumer”.I’m wondering is it possible to have separate inbox folders which can organise users based on attributes “isServiceProvider” or “isConsumer”. So when we receive messages, they will automatically go to the correct inbox folder instead of All Users. I'm still figuring out best use cases and am a complete novice so any help would be appreciated. CheersRay

I've been getting this message - "Email can't be sent right now as your workspace is being reviewed".Then your AI chatbot asked me to provide 4 pieces of information:1. The website/domain where you've installed Intercom.2. An email address on a company domain that you will be using to send messages from Intercom.3. Information on whether you validate email addresses when users sign up on your website.4. Provide a link or instructions to where the signup flow can be tested.Now that I've provided. I haven't heard back from them yet. It's been almost 1 day. What is their support email? How do I successfully send the email? How long does your review take?

Hello.About 6 months ago I tested that when I created a message that used “Company name” variable and user was member of multiple companies, the message was sent to the user once per each company (eg. three times at once, each with different company name).This is behavior is documented here: https://www.intercom.com/help/en/articles/248-personalizing-messages-using-variables#company-nameNote: If a user is a member of multiple companies, messages using company name will be sent to them once for each company. Also, if I use a filter rule based on some company attribute (eg. Plan) and I use the “Check if user matches” feature in the message dropdown menu, I can see info message:“In cases where a user is a member of multiple companies, we will evaluate each company individually to see if they match the rules.”in the “Current matching status” section. It does not tell whether the message will be sent for each message but it shows whether the rules match for each company separately.However,

Hello. I am aware of the option on how to select multiple conversations in a view and close them. However, we don’t wish to close all the snoozed want to close a particular type of snoozed conversations. Is there a way to apply a filter and only get the relevant type of conversations and then be able to bulk close them?  Just sorting doesn’t help when you have a few thousands snoozed conversations. 

I have been trying to get an answer to this via support chat without luck…We are having an issue with the authentication status of our domain for emails. We had been authorised but recently moved our website and domain host to a different service. We added the Intercom DNS records to the new host a couple of weeks ago but the status of the domain in Intercom is still showing as unauthenticated.The new host is Squarespace.What else can we try doing to resolve this? It is impacting our deliverability due to junk/spam filters.Thanks

Running Zapier from google drive to intercom to add information into user notes, however it will keep piling on instead of editing the existing notes, and it becomes a huge eyesore and can be very confusing to new staff. I have played around but can't find any way to remove a User Note. Any way around this?

Hi guys, I'm looking for a way to integrate trustpilot into the messenger rating prompt.Ideal use case - When the user rates “Amazing” when a conversation is closed, it is automatically posted to our Trustpilot page including any comments that the user wroteor Instead of sending the Intercom rating prompt, send a Trustpilot embedded message in the messenger window, where the user can rate and provide Trustpilot feedback directly from the Intercom messenger widget.Is there something that can help achieve any of the above use cases?

Hi!Every time I close a ticket/chat on Intercom and I got a rate from a client, I’m not be able to see if the client left me a rate and a comment.Is there a possibility to get a mail or a notification on Intercom?Thank you in advance!Marzia

We have one client whose chat window will not remain minimized. They will minimize the window on one screen, navigate to another, and the chat window expands again. Every time they navigate somewhere else, it re-opens. OS & Chrome are up to date. 

Hi there,  I was wondering if there is a way to snooze more than one conversation at a time as I end up with multiple tickets that need the same custom date to re-open and at the moment have to go into the conversations one by one. That takes alot of time when you have 70-90 tickets that need to be snoozed.  If it isn’t possible might I suggest it as a feature?  Thank you so much!

Hi, I’m new to Intercom so apologies if this one is obvious.I would like to trigger a banner or post as a prompt for users who either:Closed a product tour on a page without completing the tour Remain on a page without action for an extended periodEssentially I want to create reminder prompts when it looks like the user is having trouble on a page. Thanks

While testing a product tour in a test environment, I found the most frequently I could send a tour to any user was once a day. Can it be made possible to create a test user, or an audience called ‘Test’ that can be sent a product tour more frequently than once a day?  It makes it very hard to test otherwise, and I have had to create many user accounts to test more than once a day. Or is there a way to do this with the current configuration?
