Do checklist open up in new webpages?

Hi, I’m setting up an onboarding checklist for new users. Users will have to go through multiple pages within our app to complete the list. I did a test run but the checklist is not opening up on the sequential pages after the initial launch. How can I make sure that the checklist is opened each time the user goes to the next page? Or does the user have to manually open the list each time he moves to another page?

How do I test workflows in Intercom before making them live?

I’m currently setting up workflows in Intercom to automate some of my customer interactions, but I want to make sure everything is functioning properly before launching it to all users. Is there a way to test or preview the workflows to ensure the messages, triggers, and actions are working as expected? also( Check out ), are there any best practices for testing workflows before they go live to avoid issues with incorrect message delivery or user segmentation? Any advice or tips on how to effectively test workflows would be greatly appreciated!

Does Intercom have a desktop app?

Hi, I am very new to Intercom and so far, so good. However, I'm having to use it via a tab in my Safari browser on desktop, whereas its an app on my iPhone.The browser version is really hit and miss for giving notifications and I keep missing customers.I'm used to using apps like Slack on my desktop which make staying in touch really easy. Is there not a way to have Intercom as a stand alone app on my desktop Mac?Thanks in advance for any help!Rob

How can I "sample" my audience for NPS surveys using the new Survey feature?

I'm playing around with the new Survey feature - which is very cool to have in Intercom, but I'm missing the option to spread sending the surveys over time to a big group of people. For example, if I have 10,000 users who login each month, I don't want to send it to 10,000 right away. I want to send the survey to 2,500 random people each month for the next 4 months. Ideas?

Intercom Newbie - some general questions!

Hi everyone!I’m new to Intercom and have some questions which might come across as extremely basic.  I’m trying to send out a once off message to a select cohort, but Intercom continues to send this to people who match in the future. Is it possible to send this once only at that given time? I’m creating a series for new users who sign up. It has 7 touch points over 3 weeks. I want a user to exit the series when they make a purchase, and begin another series. The attribute is [is_customer: true]. Once this updates, I want them to exit the following engagements.  Has anyone integrated Intercom with Slack? I want to be notified in my slack channel when someone starts a conversation. Is this possible? What is an underrated feature on Intercom? (Just out of curiosity!)Thank you in advance.

Email - Manage Multilingual

Hello, We are about to add Germany to our French workspace. Any way to change the langage of what is display when we a customer receive an email: We would like to have it in German for German Inbox, French for French Inbox. Any workaround for this ? Thanks

Intercom API - Can not create lead with custom external_id AND can not update lead to have custom external_id

Hello,Can you help me with this questions?Is it possible to integrate with a third-party API that requires OAuth2 authentication? Can I receive notifications (webhooks) from a third-party system?Use Case:Suppose I receive a webhook notification from a third-party system containing a resource ID. After receiving this notification, I need to use their API—which requires OAuth2 authentication—to fetch additional data. The data from this API response will be used to create a ticket in Intercom.

Option to Disable Spam Filter

Don't pass by—give an Upvote if you want to ensure your clients' emails don't get lost in the spam folder!The built-in spam filter often flags legitimate emails as spam, making them easy to miss. This is unacceptable, especially since there's no option to disable it! Please add this feature as a matter of urgency.

Can i setup more than 1 inbound e-mail address?

we would like to forward all incoming e-mails sent to our support team to intercom. this can be achieved by using the default inbound address from the e-mail forwarding settings in intercom. no problem. BUT: we do have 2 teams in our support:one team for all clients in france (french speaking only) 1 team in germany (german speaking only) we are using 2 e-mail addresses for our clients:france-support@company.comgermany-support@company.com if i forward all imcoming e-mails to my germany-support@company.com e-mail address to the intercom default inbound address, everythin is OK - i receive these e-mails as new chat in the intercom inbox. BUT: we are usinig 2 inboxes in intercom:GERMAN support teamFRENCH support team can i create 2 default inbox addresses, so that this would be possible: client in France sends an e-mail to france-support@company.com --> will start a new chat in the France Inbox in intercomclient in Germany sends an e-mail to germany-support@company.com --> will sta

Unable to tag a ticket using AttachTagToTicket API

Hey Team,Thanks in advance, I'm attempting to link a tag to the ticket generated through the create ticket API, utilizing the Attach Tag to Ticket API. However, whenever I make an attempt to attach the tag, I receive an error indicating that the tag isn't supported for this ticket type. How to avoid capturing specific pieces of user data
