Package: @intercom/intercom-react-native: ^3.0.3 When a push notification is sent via Intercom, with a deep link, the deep link opens correct on android (it opens to the correct in-app page when the app is in the background and the notification is clicked, as well as when the app is closed and the notification is clicked). However, on iOS, if the notification is clicked while the app is closed, the notification does not send the user to the correct page, it simply sends them to the home page (the page they would have landed on if they had simply opened the app by itself). If the notification is clicked while the app is backgrounded however, it does send them to the correct page. Anyone have any idea why this behaviour might be happening? 

How can I add tables to the chatbox? If I try to copy a table and paste it on the chat it was just plain text without a table. Can this be resolved?

Hello,I am experiencing an issue with the Intercom SDK on Android. When I initialize Intercom at app startup, I set the current language using:UserAttributes.Builder().withLanguageOverride(currentLanguage) After changing the system language and reinitializing Intercom with the updated language, most of the content updates correctly. However, the "Send us a message" text remains in the original language.It seems that this specific text does not update after reinitialization. Is there a way to ensure that all content, including this text, is fully updated after a language change?Thank you for your help. 

Hi guys,As far as I know, currently there is no option for sending Whatsapp templates via REST API (correct me if I’m wrong). Whatsapp don’t allow sending messages via their API directly if the number is already connected to your system. That leave us without options in order to have only 1 single point of contact number for receiving user’s questions and being able to automate templates for our users. Other competitors (like Messagebird) already allow to send whatsapp templates via their API.So the question is, is there any plan to allow this in your API? Is there any ETA? This feature is quite important and if there is no plan to implement it would make customers contemplate switching providers. Thanks in advance.

We upgraded the Android Intercom SDK from version 15.7.1 to 15.9.1. After pushing out a new release of our app, we noticed that we were not getting crash reports from Sentry. We use Sentry as well as Firebase Crashlytics to analyze crash reports.After investigation, we determined that the Intercom Android SDK also uses Sentry. Updating the Intercom SDK had overwritten our configuration. This resulted in Sentry being turned off for our app.Manifest merger failed : Attribute meta-data#io.sentry.auto-init@value value=(true) from AndroidManifest.xml:45:55-75 is also present at [io.intercom.android:intercom-sdk-base:15.10.3] AndroidManifest.xml:25:13-34 value=(false). Suggestion: add 'tools:replace="android:value"' to <meta-data> element at AndroidManifest.xml to override.Sentry discourages usage in third-party SDKs (e.g. the Intercom Android SDK).“It's considered bad practice to use Sentry SDKs in third-party plugins, packages, and libraries (such as payment SDKs or embeddable widget

I only want to use FIN during a certain time of the day, when our staffing levels are lower than the day shift. Is this something I can do, or is it an “always on proposition”?*EDIT*Found it. I’m having trouble embedding a JW Player video into an Intercom article. I’ve tried using the JW embed codes, the iframe source, the share URL, and the actual video URLs in JW and keep getting an error message telling me that what I’ve entered isn’t supported, even though in that same message it says that JW Player video URLs are supported. I also checked to make sure my videos aren’t private and I was able to open them in incognito so I don’t think that can be it. Is there any documentation showing what the JW URL should look like?

How do I unsubscribe contacts in bulk (ie. everyone from a certain client)?

We have several customers that often refer back to historical ticket data and it would be massively beneficial if there was a way for them to continue to search for historical tickets. The reason for this is because the way many of our customers are structured are Tiered entities. Basically, users in the Parent Company have visibility into the Child Companies beneath them that have their own users. These Parent Company users need to have visibility into all tickets so that they are aware of the issues their Child Company Users are facing.

I often find myself writing part of an email, which I then don’t want to send anyway. When I then want to write another message, the old message, the receiver, and the subject is still there. Is there a way to “abandon” message creation that deletes the message I’ve written + subject + receiver?

Hi, we have a custom bot that we've built and we are running it on this page - https://usndemo.wpengine.com/weddings/venues/.We have some standard Intercom paths that serve up options and information and in one of the paths (Provide an Estimate) we are pulling in an Outgrow.co survey app that we have built. The hand off to Outgrow works pretty well. But when you get to the end of our survey we want to pass the user back to Intercom to continue the conversation and ask more questions. We can't seem to figure this out. Outgrow has given some recommendations on having their app redirect back to the URL (which is in place on the link above) but it's a very poor user experience. Hoping that there is some option within Intercom to make this more graceful. Or maybe we've set this up all wrong and there is a better approach overall? I've looked and searched and can't find anything, but hoping maybe I'm missing something? Thank you.

I'm creating a workflow for our website widget for our sales team. Once I welcome a lead and visitor, I've asked to gather their contact info. I now want to add a branch that 1) goes to the sales team and the lead can chat live during office hours 2) if the team can't answer, or it's outside office hours, then they can choose a reply button with a topic and schedule a call. I'm stuck at the branch part. Can anyone assist? The options are endless and Im guessing I need to create a rule???

Our confirmed resolution rate is between 6-7% usually and our assumed resolution rate is near 60%. Looking at the conversations, I would estimate that 1/3rd at least of the assumed resolutions represent a correct answer and our clients are just not clicking the “Yes that helped” button that would mark it as a confirmed resolution. My experience with bots is similar, I rarely give bots feedback, because I know its not human. Any tips or methods that you have tried that increase clients use of the confirmed resolution? 

Hey friends, can you please help me determine which timestamp to consider for different call directions, namely inbound and outbound, within the same conversation? I couldn't find which timestamp to use as call_initiated_at for each call direction.I’ve attached a sample dataset where one tab contains ready-made metrics provided by Intercom, and the second tab includes conversation parts extracted from the conversation_part API object.Also, which two timestamps should be used to calculate call_duration, call_queue_time, and call_answer_time?

Currently the subject for the ticket notification is seen  as the first message in the coversation on the ticket which is ‘Create a ticket’.

I’m experiencing internal Intercom error that is displayed in app’s UI (NextJS app router, @intercom/messenger-js-sdk package). This is a very unpleasant UX and I’d like to know how to prevent such behaviour.

We have renamed a core part of our application, and now have the arduous task of replacing every mention of the feature manually within our 180+ articles…. How do others manage this?I find native the Intercom article management tools lacking:Can’t duplicate articles Can’t create article templates Can’t insert recommended reading (related articles defined by me) Can’t have global blocks/sections that are the same across the articles they appear in etc…It’s becoming logistically nightmarish as we grow our knowledge base.Is there any third party tool that can improve the management? Or do I need to just consider building a custom knowledge base?Thank you!

When using the ‘Insert image’ option into the ‘welcome’ product tour step and then selecting an image locally into the step, no image shows, only paragraph blank space. I’m trying to upload images/giffs into the product tour so users can see the interaction I’m highlighting.  Why is not working as it should be and can someone please advise me on a resolution? Thanks!
