Hi. I'm currently setting up an onboarding experience by using banners for each step. Building it with Series was super simple, but as with Product Tours, the real experience is clumsy and laggy. For example, banners are not updated after success events have been triggered, displaying banners is sometimes delayed and sometimes needs a refresh, which is much to ask from a single-page application. Has anyone else tried this approach before? Any ideas on how to make it more seamless?
In Contact, you will see this recent page views,But it seems that recent page views is all what we can see, Is there any way to have a report/ dashboard that shows all the recent page views of a user for the last 7/30/90 days and so on. I meant in more detail and can be interacted. Thanks
Once the mobile carousel is viewed, if they select start conversation, we want to know which one they just viewed to be prepared to answer associated questions on that topic.
In Macro settings {...} icon only allows to scroll through the list of attributes which is very time consuming. Suggestion: -Add a filter by text,-Add shortcuts for inserting attributes in the macro content
I need to create a slightly altered version of one of the custom outbound bots I'm running with slightly different targeting, but I don't see an option to clone my existing bot within Operator. Do I have to recreate each bot every time with all the paths and everything?
Hi our use case is we want to use WhatsApp with Intercom for automated two-way messaging. We have set up octopods and we can receive WhatsApps from a mobile number in our Intercom Inbox. How do we use our existing custom bot to receive the WhatsApps in our Inbox and respond but the response goes to a Webhook. We will accept the Webhook in another program and convert the response into a format that WhatsApp can accept and then send a WhatsApp via the Conversations API back to the mobile number. This way we can automate responses to conversations programmatically.
This isn't the best experience. Is there a way to stop resolution bot looping after specific keywords?
Please help me understand how do we send in-app post after successful login throughout the transactional message?
Our "users" are "people" with individual contact details (emails, names), but our subscriptions are associated with a company. So, one subscription may have several users. And, those users can be associated with multiple subscriptions! The simple way to handle this seems to be to associate the stripe subscription with a company rather than a "person". We could develop this on our end via the API and some custom properties, I guess? Any thoughts ?
More detail in video below.
Please tell me. There is a custom script:We open the tab from User # 1, write in support - we answer himOpen the second tab, exit in it and go under user number 2In the intercom we write something to user # 1We go to the first tab, where we have a window with user number 1 - messages that we sent from the intercom camehow to delete a session?
Then, the user will have access to articles based on their own language.
I am trying to report on the number of touchpoints (average) that a segment of customers receives in a specific time period - the type of data displayed on a Contact Record under "recent content" + conversations. Any ideas on how to report on touchpoints?
We have a new series about to go live I'd like to ask about. To give you an idea imagine 7 onboarding emails, one for each day of a 7 day free trial, all connected up. pretty simple, but then we realised we want to exclude certain users just for email 3. The problem we face was that those users will not continue through the flow to email 4 (even if want to include them again) because the path from email 3 is not bringing them. So should we in that case have a disconnected entry point for email 4 (no path from email 3) with a rule like 'started trial 4 days ago'. Will this work. There's not that much in the current literature about disconnected entry points. Thanks. Nico
Hey Connectors! I thought I'd share a blog post with you I discovered the other day that looks like it would be useful to our community. Proactive support is a big buzz word at the moment and I've heard lots of people chatting about it! I wasn't sure what proactive support was at first so wanted to share it with you as well; it's providing help before it's needed. 👥 You can read all about it here. I love the idea of using proactive support to alert customers if there is any delay in shipping or delivery, this way you have happier customers as they know what to expect! Do you have proactive support in place? I'd love to hear more if you do 😊
We've got quite a few leads from our CPC campaign but doesn't look like Intercom's default UTM is tracking them all. Is this something that's automatic or do we have to implement something for this?
I several splits where a user matches one or the other, but I've had user disengage despite matching the split they were intended to match. Even weirder, these users who have disengaged are still getting the messages, so it's like they're still progressing along the Series even though it's indicating they disengaged. I'm also seeing the numbers not match. For instance, it shows 20 users match a certain rule, but then there's 22 users at the wait block after that rule. These issues all seem like a bug, but I escalated this with Intercom almost a week ago and still haven't gotten an initial reply. Anyone else having these issues or have any ideas? So far Series has been an absolute nightmare and doesn't give us the info we need like Campaigns did.
How do I set my Default sender address to be change to 'Use teammate's Intercom account email address'?
We're looking to build out some more complex tours with our product team. Is there a way to add another layer of complexity to the current product tours, including code?Would be helpful if there was a developers guide to product tours.
I know when a new customer message the chat widget on the bottom right corner of the website, we can let them know the expected response time. However, is there a way to let existing customers (who are already in a chat conversation with us) know the response time? Thanks!
Hi All, I have an email draft on the intercom. Is there a way to covert that mail to a URL link (like a webpage) and share the link for people to view?
I tried integrating the button click code into my website, but I'm using Wix and it doesn't work I don't think they support java script. Older people are finding it impossible to find the messenger. It's too small and can't be changed.
When composing an outbound message, we're not able to add URLs and Rich URLs to the message, even though we can see these are being provided to Intercom...
We have users who write in to us through a special bot before they are logged into their accounts. Since they come up as an unknown user, we ask them to leave their email which we collect as a data field in a custom bot. Do the summaries of the conversation get sent to that email after the user leaves the app? Are they able to continue the conversation from that email?
Scenario: if a user creates a record in our application, and we create an event trigger via API, can we leverage transactional emails to notify all other users (based on this trigger) that the record has been created? Many thanks in advance.
