Hi there! Is it possible to prevent the CSAT survey from being sent, if the status of the last message received by the client is “not seen”?Thanks in advance!
I've been getting this message - "Email can't be sent right now as your workspace is being reviewed".Then your AI chatbot asked me to provide 4 pieces of information:1. The website/domain where you've installed Intercom.2. An email address on a company domain that you will be using to send messages from Intercom.3. Information on whether you validate email addresses when users sign up on your website.4. Provide a link or instructions to where the signup flow can be tested. Now that I've provided. I haven't heard back from them yet. It's been almost 1 day. What is their support email? How do I successfully send the email? How long does your review take?
Hello.About 6 months ago I tested that when I created a message that used “Company name” variable and user was member of multiple companies, the message was sent to the user once per each company (eg. three times at once, each with different company name). This is behavior is documented here: https://www.intercom.com/help/en/articles/248-personalizing-messages-using-variables#company-nameNote: If a user is a member of multiple companies, messages using company name will be sent to them once for each company. Also, if I use a filter rule based on some company attribute (eg. Plan) and I use the “Check if user matches” feature in the message dropdown menu, I can see info message:“In cases where a user is a member of multiple companies, we will evaluate each company individually to see if they match the rules.”in the “Current matching status” section. It does not tell whether the message will be sent for each message but it shows whether the rules match for each company separately. However,
Hello. I am aware of the option on how to select multiple conversations in a view and close them. However, we don’t wish to close all the snoozed want to close a particular type of snoozed conversations. Is there a way to apply a filter and only get the relevant type of conversations and then be able to bulk close them? Just sorting doesn’t help when you have a few thousands snoozed conversations.
I have been trying to get an answer to this via support chat without luck…We are having an issue with the authentication status of our domain for emails. We had been authorised but recently moved our website and domain host to a different service. We added the Intercom DNS records to the new host a couple of weeks ago but the status of the domain in Intercom is still showing as unauthenticated. The new host is Squarespace. What else can we try doing to resolve this? It is impacting our deliverability due to junk/spam filters. Thanks
Hi intercom team,I am a developer of CoinSavi. I'm having a problem that our app's default nexus web socket domain is blocked by ISP VN, causing users to not receive realtime chat, so I want the team to configure a separate nexus web socket domain so it won't be blocked anymore. This is error: Below is our application information- Email: team@coinsavi.com- App id: vuuorn1k
I want to send out emails to a list of users based on a csv upload. I want the email copy to have custom parameters that pick up data points from the csv. How can I do this in intercom?
Hi guys, I'm looking for a way to integrate trustpilot into the messenger rating prompt.Ideal use case - When the user rates “Amazing” when a conversation is closed, it is automatically posted to our Trustpilot page including any comments that the user wroteor Instead of sending the Intercom rating prompt, send a Trustpilot embedded message in the messenger window, where the user can rate and provide Trustpilot feedback directly from the Intercom messenger widget. Is there something that can help achieve any of the above use cases?
Hi!Every time I close a ticket/chat on Intercom and I got a rate from a client, I’m not be able to see if the client left me a rate and a comment. Is there a possibility to get a mail or a notification on Intercom?Thank you in advance!Marzia
We have one client whose chat window will not remain minimized. They will minimize the window on one screen, navigate to another, and the chat window expands again. Every time they navigate somewhere else, it re-opens. OS & Chrome are up to date.
Hi there, I was wondering if there is a way to snooze more than one conversation at a time as I end up with multiple tickets that need the same custom date to re-open and at the moment have to go into the conversations one by one. That takes alot of time when you have 70-90 tickets that need to be snoozed. If it isn’t possible might I suggest it as a feature? Thank you so much!
Hi, I’m new to Intercom so apologies if this one is obvious.I would like to trigger a banner or post as a prompt for users who either:Closed a product tour on a page without completing the tour Remain on a page without action for an extended periodEssentially I want to create reminder prompts when it looks like the user is having trouble on a page. Thanks
While testing a product tour in a test environment, I found the most frequently I could send a tour to any user was once a day. Can it be made possible to create a test user, or an audience called ‘Test’ that can be sent a product tour more frequently than once a day? It makes it very hard to test otherwise, and I have had to create many user accounts to test more than once a day. Or is there a way to do this with the current configuration?
Does anyone know if there is a way to have an automated reply to customer emails that includes the ticket/case/conversation ID? So, customer emails and gets an automated email back with a templated response, and the email also includes the ticket ID or case ID or conversation ID? Not fussed which ID, as long as it gives them some sort of number to reference. Thanks in advance!
Hi there,I love the new checklist feature, and am wanting to use them to onboard new users instead of tours, as they obviously work across pages, show progress etc, and are generally more informative and less intrusive. The biggest issue I’m having right now though is that I can’t find any way to determine whether a checklist has actually been completed.Basically, my scenario is this: Create an ‘onboarding’ checklist, have an intercom banner, intercom tooltip or in-app button that initiates the checklist on the home page that is only shown when the ‘onboarding’ check list is incomplete. Yet it appears this isn’t possible as there is no way to determine whether the checklist is complete or not.As an aside, it also appears that it isn’t possible to launch a checklist from a banner. Do they not support smart links? Thanks!
I would like to have the ability to have a few simple question mark icons available on my site, when clicked, they would load specific articles from our help center within the messenger window. The goal is to deep link specific articles in the messenger. I've seen other chat bots provide this functionality but haven't found a way to do this with Intercom (happy to use the JavaScript API if needed). Thanks!
HiI’d like to know if it’s possible to duplicate a path in a custom bot (to reuse it as a basis instead of creating a new one from scratch)
I queried Fin to answer a question from one of our blog posts. While Fin did pull from our blog posts, he pulled an inactive link that resulted in a 404 error. I found the correct link but I don’t know how to correct in Fin. Can someone advise, please? For example: Say Fin pulled www.company.com/blog123However, that resulted in the 404 error. Fin should have pulled www.company.com/blogabcHow do I update the link in Fin? Thank you in advance!
I would like to add one more option below "Send us a message", but I couldn't add it to the workflow. The workflow only allows me to add options after selecting one of the following options (Help, Messages, Send us a message)Is it possible to do it?
HiWe're new to Intercom. We'd like to post a message to a user that pops up on opening of the app like this: What we are getting is the message view first: Is there any way to suppress this and go straight to the pop-up message? Thanks in advance, John
Hi everyone, I’ve set up intercom through GTM and it’s working as the messenger is showing on page. I’m now trying to set up a proactive message to be sent when anyone makes a click where the click text is “Let us know”. The issue I have is that GTM is picking up the clicks correctly but intercom is not receiving the event. I’ve tried setting up the event two ways and neither work. Method 1 - using the intercom built GTM function for trackEvent.Method 2 - using the custom HTML GTM function with the JS as per the guides. In both cases intercom is not detecting the event. I know the event is being triggered by GTM as I’m receiving it in MixPanel. Any ideas why this wouldn’t be working?
Did anyone encounter an issue starting a new conversation via email because it shows an error?I received an error when I tried to send an email to a new user, even though I have already verified my domain address and obtained the send email permission. It's quite strange. Can anyone help?
It looks like Intercom.logEvent(withName: ) is not thread safe, Yet the in line documentation is not warns the user and the provided url is broken: “Log an event with a given name. You can log events in Intercom based on user actions in your app. Details about Events here “Broken url: https://developers.intercom.com/reference/#events Workaround:Intercom.logEvent(withName: event) should be called on main thread only. Many times, when we communicate with our customers, we need to use their message data for segmentation. This applies to any of the Intercom channels. We would like to utilize message data to, for example, exclude or include contacts who received message x. Another example would be to exclude or include contacts who did not open message x. We understand that this can be partially achieved with series, but not with individual messages.Currently, we address this issue by applying tags to users. For instance, we tag everyone who opened message x and then exclude or include them from the next message. Is there anyone solving this in a different way?
