React Native + Expo: Push notification deep links do not open correct link

Hi! We’re are currently setting up Intercom in our React native + Expo application. Everything regarding push notifications is working. We can receive push notifications on both android and iOS platforms. However, deep link are only working on iOS. Our intent filter is as follows:const BASE_MW_INTENT = { autoVerify: true, action: "VIEW", category: ["BROWSABLE", "DEFAULT"],};const MW_ANDROID_INTENT_FILTERS = [ // Deep links config. { ...BASE_MW_INTENT, data: [ { scheme: "ourcompany", host: "ourcompany.site.nl", }, ], }, // Universal links config. { ...BASE_MW_INTENT, data: UNIVERSAL_LINKS_DATA, },]; And our deep link is as follows:ourcompany://ourcompany.site.nl/mijn/account/abonnementThis again works on iOS, but not on android. Is it possible to send silent push notifications with Intercom?

Hello!We are using push notifications with Intercom to notify users of important events in our app.We’d like to know if Intercom supports silent push notifications for iOS & Android i.e. push notifications that we send to our apps that do not display any alerts/sounds, but are just used from our apps, to do actions such as reloading UI elements.Thank you.

Survey Triggered by Event Issue with ProGuard - Android SDK v15.1.0

Hello, I am an Android Kotlin developer, and I am using your SDK's automatic survey feature, which is triggered by an event. Everything is working fine when I test it in my environment because minify and shrink are disabled. However, when I generate a release version where this scenario changes (minify and shrink are enabled), the survey stops working.I am using the ProGuard configuration provided in your GitHub documentation, as well as the ProGuards for OkHttp, Okio, and Retrofit (these last ones have been working in production for a long time in the code, it's not something recent, only Intercom is). Could you please assist me with this issue?Intercom SDK: 15.1.0 (Without push messaging)Compile SDK: 33Min SDK: 21Target SDK: 33Our logging is not throwing any type of errors.

iOS SDK universal link keeps opening Safari

In our app we are sending Intercom Posts with universal links in them and opening a link from a post within the app does both - triggers the deeplink action and also opens Safari. In our AppDelegate we return true from application:continueUserActivity:restorationHandler: and even when we completely remove all deeplink related logic and the method contains nothing but return true it still opens Safari, this behavior contradicts to what's written here. We have IntercomUniversalLinkDomains configured in the Info.plist file. Expected behavior: Do not open Safari when a url is matched with an entry from IntercomUniversalLinkDomains and application:continueUserActivity:restorationHandler: returns true.iOS SDK version 16.2.3

Does Intercom SDK on Android use the PhotoPicker API for the image attachments feature?

We’re using Intercom Android SDK 15.1.3. We use the Intercom.client().present() API to show the help center in our app.Our app currently requires READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission and the only reason for this permission is for Intercom’s image attachments feature.From Android documentation, on API 33, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE is replaced with more granular permissions like READ_MEDIA_IMAGES etc. However, it also states that you can use the PhotoPicker to get the same behaviour without any permissions; and with the jetpack library PhotoPicker is available all the way back to API 19.My question is: Does Intercom Android SDK use PhotoPicker? What about on pre-API 33?The only reference to this I see is in the changlog for Intercom Android SDK v12.5.3 but it is not clear what that means for an app that integrates this SDK.

I want to report an issue we have encountered with the Intercom SDK on Android. [iOS Native] When App is closed and push notification is clicked, the chat/post does not open in the app.

We are facing following issue in our iOS Native app:When the app is closed and the user clicks on the Intercom’s Push Notification, the app opens up but the chat/post opens momentarily and closes. This only happens when the app is closed and notification is clicked, it works fine if the app is in the background/active state.In our case when the app is opened via Push Notification in the app's closed state, main view get refreshed after data fetching.I have done all the Push Notification configuration as per the doc: https://developers.intercom.com/installing-intercom/ios/push-notificationsWe are using iOS SDK Intercom version: 17.1.2 Similar kind of issue was resolved by our Android Team by using Intercom.client().handlePushMessage() . However, such a method does not exist in the iOS Intercom SDK.

Intercom changing SwiftUI app's accent color?

I am working on a SwiftUI iOS app. Building with the latest SDK (Xcode 15.4) to run on iOS 16 and above. We set our App’s accent color using the Global Accent Color Name build setting. As soon as I include the Intercom Package via SPM our accent color is changed to the default blue. Why is Intercom changing the accent color?

Android app crashes when setting up Intercom React Native

Compose Semantics for Android UI tests

Hi.I’m trying to write Android UI tests on the app with Intercom integrated.I’d like to check that Intercom main screen is opened after some actions made in our UI.However I’ve discovered, that Intercom uses Compose, that’s why usual techniques to find views ids are not working.Could you suggest if any semantics were used in your Compose code or how can I find any stable identifiers to check them in my tests?

UI Issue with Close Button in Intercom SDK on Android 15

We are currently working on our upcoming release to the Google Play Store, ensuring compatibility with Android 15. As part of this effort, we have recently updated our app to use the latest version of the Intercom SDK (15.9.1).During our testing phase, we encountered an issue specific to devices running Android 15. The problem pertains to the UI when attaching a video or image in the Intercom messenger.The "X" close button overlaps with the status bar, making it difficult to close the attachment preview.This behavior is observed only on Android 15 and seems related to the new edge-to-edge enforcement introduced in this version of Android.Here are the steps to reproduce the issue:1. Initialize Android Mobile SDK

Hi,In our product we want to start using the Android Mobile SDK, but for only a set of users. When the app opens we don’t know if the user needs Intercom, we only have that information later in the process.In the iOS Mobile SDK we used the SDK without any issue but in Android we found a warning: Intercom must be initialized inside the application onCreate() method. Initializing anywhere else will result in Intercom not behaving as expected and could even result in the host app crashing. Calling the initialize in the onCreate will add this user to the pricing plan? It’s safe to call this method and later when we are sure that this user has intercom enabled call loginIdentifiedUser?Intercom.initialize(this, "your api key", "your app id")Thanks

Issue with Persistent Intercom Popup after send event and open popup and exit it on Android SDK (version 15.9.1)

Hi,We are currently experiencing an issue with the Intercom Android SDK (version 15.9.1) in our application while developing a new feature with event.When a user clicks on the refill button, we send an event to Intercom as per your documentation: https://developers.intercom.com/installing-intercom/android/using-intercom#submit-an-event.As a result, a small popup window appears at the bottom of the screen. However, this popup window does not disappear automatically after the user reads the message and returns to the previous screen. Instead, it remains persistent until the app is killed and reopened.This behavior differs from the iOS SDK, where the popup window disappears automatically once the message is read, and the user returns to the previous screen.The user can manually remove the popup by sliding it. Is the persistent popup designed to be removed only manually by the user, or is there a way to make it disappear automatically after the message is read? We have implemented the feat
