Hi there!I have an event that identifies a user who is in checkout page, and I have another event that is triggered when a user makes a purchase. With those events, how can I make a serie related to abandoned checkout?I want to send an email to users who saw the checkout but did not purchase.

Can we upload a list of users' email addresses to intercom for bulk emailing? Should the users previously have existed in intercom or can they be any person who is currently, or has previously used our product? What are the best practices for executing this type of bulk communication? What are the exact steps we need to follow to achieve this?

HiI am working for an application. When customers sign up, if they don’t fill the box “First Name”, they have the information “PRENOM” registered as their first name.We want to send personnalized emails with their first name. There is the option “fallback” to send a emoji if their first name is empty but this emoji is not sent if they have the information “PRENOM” as their first name. Does anyone have a suggestion?Maryse

We use Chameleon.io for our in-app onboarding, tours etc. So i want to have the intercom messenger being called from a Chameleon launcher, as a custom launcher, but when you go to our website, I just want the launcher to be displayed as default. How is that possible? Hi, I want to know how to write bold text as an user that messaging with the company?Tried to do markup syntax but nothing works, the only thing that seems to be working is <br> tag which breaks a line, is it possible at all to write bold text as an user?

Has anyone else encountered that when writing a Series and you click “save”, Intercom pops up with a red banner with an error message (and any attempts to save after that will result in your series being deleted, despite appearing as “successful”)?  Wondering how I can avoid this problem in the future, or if anyone has found a workaround! 

I send an email via the messages api and most of the links work except for one. all working links start with “www” but this one is “https://help.optiseller.com/en/”. does intercom support links that do not start with “www”

I currently have a couple of product tours running in our product, and I was wondering if I could add some CSS to my product that will change the styling of the product tour? There's a couple of things we wish to update to integrate it a bit more in the product, beyond the options Intercom currently offers.

This morning two unique emails are being sent to two smallish (<800 people) audience and they still have not “sent” yet. I recreated one because even after an hour it still hadn’t sent. Has anyone run into this before, and if so, what was the cause and how did you fix it?  I have reached out to support but wait time on that is 4 hours and I am already outside of my ideal window for when we wanted these emails to be sent. 

Hey! Is there a way to exclude URLs for posts or banners?We'd like to show a promotional post or/and banner but don't want it to show up on the checkout page. Any way of doing this? Thanks!

Hello,I have successfully established connection among Intercom -> Segment -> Redshift iterations.Our team does have NPS survey data on the Intercom and I could see the NPS score data on the redshift server.Is there anyway I can retrieve the timeframe data when the users leave NPS feedback on Intercom? I could find timeframe when users joined and logged-in, but could not find when they left their NPS score.I am not sure if I have to contact Intercom or Segment, sorry in advance if this is the wrong place to ask questions.Thank you  

Hi, everyone!I’m working on a onboarding series right now, and I want to make sure the majority of our users see the product tour. So we’ve put a series that includes said product tour, where they enter as soon as they sign up, we check a couple of things, such as language, and then we trigger the product tour. Then, in case the user goes offline before receiving the product tour, we’ve set up an email to reel them back to the app. Here’s the issue, if I direct them to the tour right after clicking on a button o whatever in the email, it creates an infinite loop.Has anyone else had a similar situation? How did you got around solving it? Should we include a second product tour for the email path?Thank you🙏🏽

HiI have a series…Step 1 - user entersStep 2 - wait 5 minutesStep 3 - send emailIn my test of this series, the wait of 5 minutes in step 2 was closer to 30 minutes. At one point, the user was sitting in the "still waiting" like even thou the "entered at" time was 15 minutes ago. The email for step 3 was finally sent and received 34 minutes after the user entered the flow.Is this a hangover of a big server/queuing load at Intercom?If so, not ideal but ok - I'd just need to know what is going on so I can adjust the series and manage my expectations as to when it'll actually send. If it's not a load/queue issue... What's going on? ThanksRob 

Is there a way to allow a user to enter a series every time that a certain tag is added to one of their companies, no matter how many times the tag is added to any number of their companies? I need to email users every time a specific tag is added to one of their companies, which could potentially happen multiple times a minute for multiple different companies that the user belongs to. Currently the entry rule is ‘Company tag is xyz’ and users are only emailed for their first company that matches, but I need them to be emailed for every company that matches even if the next company is seconds later.

We send a link to intercom via an event that looks something like this: Page Url: https://example.com/some-page?test=true In our email, we have UTM tracking enabled, and the preview of the attributes looks like:utm_source=intercom&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=email-testing the link attribute on a button set to:{Page Url}?utm_content=toplink Ideally, we would like all of these query params merging like this:https://example.com/some-page?test=true&utm_source=intercom&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=email-testing&utm_content=toplink ...but instead, we see only the utm tracking:https://example.com/some-page?utm_source=intercom&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=email-testing How can we merge all of these query params in such a way as to ensure we get the complete set?

I’ve got a specific segment of users uploaded from csv — 296 users in total. When clicking on “send message” and down to “rules” there’s only 142 users. I’ve switched “include those who were unsubscribed” on — but there’s still only 142. Am I missing something here? It’s really frustrating!  Thanks for any help :)

I tried to send personalised email to my user and used event metadata with some parameters into email.I created data attributes, new event with metadata  Triggered series on this event Created email, and inserted event parameters there, but the problem is that when I receive email, value from event metadata custom_attributes are always empty.Is there any way to fix it?Thank you
