Hello! I'm looking for a way to fire an inbox rule when we close a conversation. What I'm hoping to achieve: When: we close a conversationIf: team assigned is XThen: assign ticket to teammate Y The idea is that the ticket remains closed, but assigned to a certain team(mate). Any suggestions? :-)
We are having problems with a wait block. It doesn't seem to be working properly for us. We have a wait block that users get to and we see x users finished waiting. But they don't go on to the next step. The next step is a post that doesn't have any rules or conditional logic. But the users who finished on the wait block don't see the post. See the attached image. I've tested and gone through the flow as a test user. I've got through the proceeding step and opened a stopwatch and timed it and after the wait period (currently set to 1 minute) the next step does not trigger. Technically, how is wait implemented? Does the intercom Javascript code essentially start a timer? Does it rely on the user performing some action like checking the timer on a click event or a page reload? I'd like to know technically how it works. What I've seen is the next step in my series has shown up. But it didn't show up after the wait period passed. It showed up on the sec
We checked for the storage pricing for custom objects and custom actions and we got to know from this article that custom actions are included on all plans at no additional cost. 15 Custom Objects and 100K records are available on all plans at no addition. But I want t o know the additional charges if I go over 15 custom objects and 100k records. Also, Can I delete any custom object once created. I can archive the object but I could not find a way to delete it. Can someone help me with this?
Is there any kind of recall feature or a delay setting in messenger? I'm human, and sometimes I catch a typo in a response I've just sent. It would be great to have to ability to correct it or delete that response before it's sent to the customer.
when I receive an email with an image, it turns it into a link? how can I have those stay as images? It's not the end of the world, but it's a little annoying.
For example, I want to create a cancellation flow and want to keep track of the reason why they are canceling.
I would like to connect the Search Term in Google Ads to the users. I know we can use the UTM tagging. But we use auto-tagging. So can we use a combination of the GCLID and UTM, or is there another solution?
Is it possible to have a link on one's website that links out to Articles, opening a specific article in the messenger?
Is there any way I can export the reports of articles? It could be with an API or right on the screen
My customers and I are experiencing issues where the messenger cannot be hidden after it is opened. Clicking the messenger button in the bottom right corner just opens another instance on top of the existing one. When the new instance is opened on top of the old one the collapse arrow appears over top the messenger. Clicking the collapse arrow closes the second instance but there is no way to close the first instance of the Messenger. There is no X or collapse button. It is functional, just cannot be closed.
I need a hyperlink that can direct to the platform page with the chat open. It's possible?
I have created a custom object and custom action following the articles. I am storing the custom action's API response to my custom object and populating that inside my custom bot. But, from the Custom bot all the attributes of the custom object are showing null. Also there are no logs getting shown on the custom action. I have many:1 and 1:many relation set as suggested in the article to my object:people and object:conversation . Can someone help me with this?
I'm using zapier to create an event with some metadata. For example, the event is "Project completed" and the meta is "Project name".I'm using this event to start a series that will constantly sendo e-mails and posts to the user. What a want to do is to use the metadata "Project name" in an e-mail's body but it doesn't show up. Any ideas?
I do not want my full name to be displayed there.
I have a bot that we're using to pretty much just tag users as a way to opt-in to future communication. Every time the user opts-in, it saves that "yes" as a conversation, which we then have to delete. The bot is doing all the work of tagging the customer, so saving that conversation is just extra work. Any suggestions on how to prevent that? I'm pretty new to intercom :)
My trial period is over and I was not still able to assess if the feature is working. I followed all the tips: I wrote the articles with specific key words and pushed manually the article to visitors.
What would cause a routine outbound newsletter to start going into the Spam folder overnight when it has previously been going to their inbox folders without any issues? FYI. No major changes were made to the configuration as it is based on a template
I realize this is highly contextual and depends on a host of factors, but I'm wondering if there are some rough benchmarks against which I might compare our Help Center's SSRR. Is there an industry standard, e.g., or a number that Intercom uses internally to give customers a target to aim for? At Lessonly by Seismic, we've achieved a SSRR of roughly 87% YTD, which seems very good to me! But again, I have no basis for comparison.
Whats bizarre is that a lot of emails ARE sending and we haven't been able to detect a pattern.
Our template is: Hi {person}, {Person} has finished {action} {deliverable} for {job name}.Cheers, {Author name) This works most of the time. But sometimes the grammar doesn't work. Like this: Hi Dave, I has finished reviewing script for MAK001.Cheers, Paul Ideally it would read "I have finished reviewing a script" Any ideas how you make the templated message flexible enough to always make sense?!
Our income Account is linked with our customer built user tracking program and when a customer reaches out to us using contact info we have on file it will group all that information into a single thread. However if that customer calls or emails us using contact info NOT on file it starts a new thread. I have two specific questions. 1) Is there a proactive way that we could automatically catch that the same person has reached out on different email. maybe a way to track the IP address of the computer they are using. 2) in cases where someone reached out using a different phone number can we attach or combine two different threads? As a customer service team it is getting confusing when we have to track the same issue over multiple different threads.
Can somebody look into our account or give us a direct email to talk to somebody in sales as we definitely don't want to cancel our account as it's becoming critical.
I saw import history but I don't see any columns that provide uploader name. Do we have way to know? https://www.intercom.com/help/en/articles/177-import-your-user-data-into-intercom#:~:text=Events%20API.-See%20your%20Data%20Import%20History,-You%20can%20see
