Hi, we have been sending push messages to our customers for months using Intercom. We made no changes to our iOS app or certificates but are now getting a 400 MissingTopic error on all of our push messages to iOS users. Is this something that has changed internally with Intercom or the SDK? Thanks,Maanit

Hello Intercom Community,I'm looking for insights or suggestions on how to effectively track conversations with clients who have just completed their onboarding. We use HubSpot for onboarding, and it's synced with Intercom. When onboarding is done, the status in HubSpot is updated to "done", and the end date is set.Our challenge is finding a way to filter and view these specific clients conversations in Intercom. This data is crucial for us as we're developing a new onboarding flow and need to establish baseline KPIs.Does anyone have experience or tips on how to achieve this within Intercom, or perhaps through a workaround? Any advice or examples of how you might be tracking similar data would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance!

Upon reviewing all customer tickets, I noticed that customers can detect when we've seen or read their messages. Is there a way to disable this notification?Thank you for any help you can provide.

I am using a workflow to sent a CSAT rating request after the conversation has been closed. Every time a customer is responding to channels (Facebook & Instagram) that they have to send a message, the chat is reopening. Then when we close them again, it send them the CSAT rating request again. Has anyone found a work around this, or is there something that I am missing? Thanks in advance,Brandon

How can I send request body in x-www-form-urlencoded format. It is mentioned that I need to pass request body in json format but My Authentication end point only supports requests in x-www-form-urlencoded format. Can someone please let me know the how can I make authentication with x-www-form-urlencoded format ?

I’m finding that with the Salesforce Create Case Workflow I don’t get any type of confirmation if my case has be created. Ideally, the user would get some type of message confirming the case has been created and a link to their case. Has anyone achieved this?  

Product Tours “work on desktop only. It doesn't currently work on mobile devices (including tablets) in the browser or in mobile apps.” So we had to implement Post messages for our webapp mobile users in order to support their onboarding with videos.I want to allow our mobile users to view an onboarding video in a vertical 9:16 format, however I am unable so far to find the right solution:I tried inserting the video in my Post, but it’s displayed in a small size like a snippet of the original video. Also, I cannot hide the sender and the video is played by default without sound (with the button to unmute not very visible), Then I tried embedding a YouTube video. This seemed to work since the play button allowed it to be played with volume and opened in YouTube if helpful for a better view. However it is shown on a wide view instead of the vertical (9:16 view).Can I embed a "Short" YouTube video to be displayed vertically?Any suggestion to show a vertical video on a post?Should I try a

Hi all, I have installed successfully Intercom Messenger as Plugin on Axure Cloud Server workspace.Most of the function from Intercom work perfectly ie: checklist,tasks, messages But just [product tour] does not load , and after I selected the destination pages, nothing happened.I have attached a few error print screen I have found in “developed mode - console”Can any expert can give me a hand please? We have created a custom launcher for our web application to access the Intercom Messenger. We are implementing our own custom badging as well and using the onUnreadCountChange Javascript API method. However, when testing the badging functionality, the count seems to be inaccurate. For example, if an user has only one active conversation and our agent sends them 4 messages, is the expected return value from unreadCount supposed to be 4? From what we observed, if an user has multiple active conversations, then the unreadCount will then be 2.We are expecting and would like the unread count to be the total number of unread messages for a customer’s conversation(s). However, it seems as if the unread count is only associated with the number of unread conversations instead.Could you help clarify this, thanks! Best,Jonathan

Hi. I have a problem with the “Let users start a conversation” setting not working for customers with zero conversations.This was tested on react native v6.3.0 and i tried both “Let users start a conversation” on and off. And i think i found an issue.When i don’t have any conversations and the above option is ON I get this screen. Which is correct. Top right you have an icon to start conversations and in the middle you also have a button to start new conversations.When i switch this to OFF i get this screen which is NOT correct. As you can see at the top right the icon is gone. Which is correct as a have disabled starting new conversations but the button is still available in the middle of the screen. Seems like the button in the middle doesn’t follow the setting but the button in top right does 

We use react native sdk v6.20 and we set “Let users start a conversation” to false to prevent users from starting new conversations. But they still have the button “Send us a message”. I read that this should be fixed in v6.20 issue seems to be only for users with no conversations. if Let users start a conversation is falseuser with 0 conversations can see the button to start new conversations in the middle of the screen “Send us a message”user with 1 conversation doesn’t see the button but only their previous conversationsif Let users start a conversation is trueuser with 0 conversations can see the button to start new conversations in the middle of the screen “Send us a message”user with 1 conversation also sees the button at the top of the modal to start new conversation.so this means that if you don’t have conversations you can start new conversations regardless of the Let users start a conversation settingand if you do have conversations then the setting works as expected

I’ve created a newsfeed, created a news item in that newsfeed and set it live. I made sure I am part of the newsfeed as a user. But when I go to my site, I don’t see the newsfeed anywhere.Would love a video tutorial!

Any idea why it is happening?

Hello! 😊We noticed that upon pressing a Sad emoji on a Help Center article, we are asking people to Send us a message. This seems to only available on iOS, and not on Android. Regardless, we really need it disabled.We have already disabled the “automatically start a message”, but we also need the manual way out :) How can we do this? Thank you! 

How can I search Fin’s content in our conversations? In instances where Fin has said something incorrect to many customers we need to quickly find all instances where Fin said a particular piece of information so we can correct.When I search the information Fin gave out it brings up no conversations, even though it’s been part of many conversations. I am copy pasting the fin content/key words from the conversations so it is accurate. Thank you for your assistance!

Hi there, We’re having an issue with the Intercom Inbox, we’ve just integrated Instagram/Facebook messagers to come through via the native integration.  The previous tool were inforbip, which help us collect messagers from Instagram/Facebook.But it always show  another app is controlling while we have already disconnected from the platform we used before. We have tried many times to reinstalling but still error. Does anyone meet this before? Please help.Thanks in advance for your help! 

Hello We’ve integrated Intercom SDK on Android (15.5.1) & iOS (16.3.1) platforms. We found several differences in the implementation between Android & iOS, could you help us to understand the reason of this case?  “Powed by Intercom” label is visible on Android, on iOS - no No close or create messages buttons on Android, on iOS - yes No close chat button, only get back to messages on Android

Is there a way to prevent users from receiving a post after a certain date and/or time? 

Hi, I’m having a problem setting up a product tour.One of my steps asks users to download our plugin, however, a small set of our users might have already installed it, meaning the “Download Plugin” button won’t exist.Here’s the info I saw in another post:“If the pointer step in a tour is unable to identify the correct element on the page because the CSS selector associated with the tour step and the CSS selector associated with element on your site do not match, the pointer step will instead show as a “post” step.”I’m facing an issue here - this post step that defaults has no option for customers to press Next or Skip.Meaning if the CSS selector isn’t there, there’s no “if” logic for a user to be able to manually move onto the next step.Is there a way to allow users to move onto the next step if the above occurs?
