How can I send emails to multiple users?

Is there some way to upload a CSV of user IDs instead of having to manually enter each one into the 'who will receive this' bit? I want to send an email to 50 or so people.

If you’re using Intercom to market to your customers, you’re probably in the middle of building out email campaigns for Black Friday and the holidays right about now! I’d like to share some tips with you, from our Trust & Safety team, on how to best manage your email sending for these campaigns, minimise bounces/spam complaints and ensure the best inbox placement. Only message active customers When sending email messages, it’s never a good idea to message every single one of your customers at once. Some customers have disengaged and their email addresses may no longer exist or, even worse, be used as spam traps. You could also have former customers who don’t want to hear from you any more, and might mark your emails as spam. Here’s more guidance on how to avoid spam traps. We recommend that you only message customers who match the audience rule Last seen less than 180 days ago. Only email when you have permission to do so This one should go without saying, but please make sure you’

How can I change the subject of an email I send to a customer?

I am using Intercom to send a ‘nudge’ email to a customer so I want it to follow on and be part of the same conversation that I opened to send the first email. However I can’t see how to change the ‘subject’ of the email.

Can't limit the number of conversations

I ticket the “Prevent users from having multiple inbound conversations” but i can still see the “Send us a message button” when i first open the chat.Weird this is i i go into the open conversation, and then hit back, i no longer see the button

Why is the series taking so long?

Hi all,We are trying to test the process manually by creating users (user or lead) and series. We have not yet completed the intercom integration with our product. We have a series of 4-5 steps for testing (no “wait” block) and we want to instantly send an email/change the tag for the user. However, the series takes at least 20-25 minutes to complete. Is this normal? What do we need to do so that the series can be completed in a shorter time?Our first tries weren't really successful, any tips for us?

I have added a banner on my page but when I shutdown the intercom it still reappears after a few seconds.

I'm currently trying to set up an outbound template that includes the following dynamic data from every colleague of mine:(full) NameJob titlePicture Last year I talked to the Intercom support about this, but it was too much work back then. Now I want to try it again. The last tip about it I got from support was to use something like this:{{message.author.first_name}} from {{app.name}} and also use the variable for fetching the pictures: <img src="https://www.example.com/avatars/{{ message.author.first_name }}.png" height="40" width="40" class="avatar" alt="intercomavatar"> My first tries today weren't really successful, any other tips for me?

How to set a "message post" only for one of my subdomain

Intercom is connected to mydomain.com. I have multiple subdomain like subdomain1.mydomain.com.How to configure a message only to be show on that subdomain ?I have tried with a rule "Current url starts with subdomain1.mydomain.com", but i doesn't work.Is it possible ?

Hi, Is it possible to set up a wait time based on an attribute. More specifically, I have a device-connect date and I would like the next e-mail in my series to be triggered 90 days after this date. How can I achieve this?

How do I schedule rules for a welcome email?

I am new to Intercom and am having difficulty scheduling emails to be sent to new clients. I wish to send an email to a customer after they have logged into our site for the first time. The email is currently sat as a draft in Outbound > Messages. The below shows the default rules/frequency and scheduling, but I don’t know what to change it to. I would also need the email frequency to be rolling, so that the email would send automatically to any future new sign ups.   Any suggestions or assistance would be great.

In my service, when one user performs an activity, we want to send a different user a push notification to alert them. We are using segment events to trigger the push notification. in the event metadata, we send the second users email.  How can we ensure the push notification is sent to the email in the metadata?

I want to send an email with an audience where a Survey score is >8. If they provide a future score of 1, then a 9 - will they end up with the email again?

I have the below rule set up, we send this Survey out 1x a week, so there is a chance that they get the email for giving us an 8, if they then give us a 1, and then a 9/10 - will this add them back into matching the rules "again"? Or does it remember the first time this user matched the audience and ignore any future ones?I don't want this email to go out multiple times, just the first time it matches, but the scores tend to go up and down and I am worried this will remove then re-add them to being a match.I hope this makes sense! haha.  Thank you!!
