How would it be possible to visually change the chat launcher?The default widget is not too accessible for users unless they accidently happen to find it.Is it possible to increase the size - give a pop up transition, which isnt natively possible?Thanks

The JS API has no documented methods for capturing and handling errors. Is there an undocumented callback that can be used to capture and gracefully handle errors? If not, why not? Both the Android and iOS SDKs have error handling but there is zero documented error handling for the JS API. This makes the API far less useful.All assistance appreciated.

 Today, I spoke with support about changing the font, and they told me it’s not possible. Is that really the case? This new font is quite challenging; when you look at the number 0, it sometimes looks like an 8. It’s causing a lot of issues for users. 

Hi everyone,We are working with Intercom and recently added the function to sort incoming chats based on the customer's inquiry. Chats that didn't fit into specific categories were sent to a general folder.However, we are encountering an issue where closing resolved chats in folders seems to cause the chat count to increase rather than decrease. For instance, if there are 20 chats in the "Payments" folder and we close one, instead of the number dropping to 19, it sometimes increases to 22 and then stabilizes at 21.Has anyone experienced something similar or have any suggestions on how to fix this? I am trying to send email messages via the messages API endpoint and its failing.  Perhaps my current authorization  token doesn’t allow the sending of messages, even though I’ve check all of the boxes?  I have found via OpenAI instructions for adding “message” scope to the authorization token.  But OpenAI doesn’t seem to be in line with reality, as I cannot find the Intercom UIs it refers to.  What is the right way to make sure my authorization token includes the messages scope? 

Do you allow custom unsubscribe links, meaning using our own unsubscribe page that we've already built ourselves? Having multiple unsubscribe pages for different services (Intercom being one service we use) confuses customers and makes it pretty hard on our engineering/data team. Most major email providers allow companies to use their own unsub link; they typically ask us to send our custom unsub link for checking/verification first of course.

I’m trying to setup an onboarding checklist in which multiple steps will launch product tours. I have the first step setup and functioning fine, but the subsequent steps/product tours I cannot seem to configure to launch when/where it is needed. Here’s the issue:Our customer’s URLs are : subdomain.domain.com …..When a customer creates their account and logs in for the first time, they are brought to their homepage. The checklist appears and the first item in the checklist launches a product tour on that page. There’s no dynamic aspect to that URL, so we can simply setup the “Use your tour everywhere” setting to use {subdomain}.domain.comThat tour has them create a case/project in their dashboard, which generates a new page/URL. The issue arises here, because that URL is different every time, for every user, however, the URL itself is not unique to a user, meaning any user in that dashboard (which there are typically multiple) can access that case/project/URL. The URL ends up being some

Hi, I'm trying to show intercom surveys and track user events on my website, but the surveys don't show up if I add user_id in my intercomSettings via Javascript API, also I keep getting forbidden requests to track user events, can anyone help? Is there any requirement to use event tracking such as secure mode enabled or added something on intercomSettings?

Hello, I'm creating my product tours and I have the following question: I have a logical path that my end-users should engage with my product tours: First they must do the product tour A, then the B and then the C. I've write them in a way that at the last step of the product tour A, a post type step, I give a link that directs the end user to start the product tour B ( the url with the product tour code at the end: "?product_tour_id=217376"). And at the product tour B, just like the A, I created the same last step, but giving the product tour C url. In that way, when finishing the product tour A, the end-user clicks on the link to the B, and when finishing it, clicks on the link to do the C, just the way I want. But I noticed that when clicking in the product tour B link, at the end of the A, the last step of the A stills appears on the screen of the URL of the product tour B, instead of starting the tour B. How can I get this done? I have successfully been able to integrate Product Tour for most of the platform. However,  have a section within my platform where a workflow needs to be completed by the users.The workflow comprises of 4 steps and it’s a wizard style experience. all the 4 steps have the same URL and just the content on the page changes upon completing a step but the URL remains same.Issue: The pointers which are meant to appear on the step 2 of the workflow appears on the Step 1 itself. The CSS elements are not visible on the Step 1 but still the pointers appear.I have tried attributing the HTML with intercom <div> as well, the buttons are even highlighted in Pink within the tour editor after the attribution. It means the attribution worked, Despite this, the pointers appear on Step 1 instead of Step 2.

Hi, I’m setting up an onboarding checklist for new users. Users will have to go through multiple pages within our app to complete the list. I did a test run but the checklist is not opening up on the sequential pages after the initial launch. How can I make sure that the checklist is opened each time the user goes to the next page? Or does the user have to manually open the list each time he moves to another page?

Intercom's API only allows me to select either the Plain or Personal templates when sending an email through the API, is there any way to send these messages using full HTML?

I just signed up for Intercom, and am having some issues.Within my own intercom dashboard, when I click the chat/messenger button to get help from Intercom itself, the chat window appears to try to open and then promptly disappears. Watch this screen capture. Not a good first impression if I can’t even get customer support from a customer support company. Ha.   With my own site integration, when i visit it (even from a separate computer) I get the attached screenshotted window when i click the messenger button, as a visitor.
