I'm using the intercom api to create and respond conversations of type email, when I send messages as an admin using HTML, some styles are stripped out, as a result clients can't see the HTML formatted correctly when the email is opened, Do you know why this could be? I'm seeing that css styles are removed and even using inline styles would not work, does intercom support styles in the email conversations api at all?

Hello, I tried to use react-use-intercom in my nextjs project, everything works fine on desktop, safari but the chat hides on other browsers when using mobile devices. Please help me fix the issue. Thanks!

There are inactive customer workflows but apparently when you send a message (ie. asking for the customer to reply), these will only send in the messenger. Shouldn’t they also send via email if the customer hasn’t seen the update in the messenger after 3 minutes? I’m not understanding why that’s not happening as it should be the same as any other message sent by a teammate.

Hi, I am using vimeo to embed videos within my articles and am having issues with implementing domain level video restrictions. We need domain restriction on all our videos to prevent them from being accessed by users that aren't logged in.  When viewing articles on the standalone help pages, the embed solution works fine, but if a user views a video from within the messenger, they get an error saying the video can't be played because of privacy settings. Both the help pages and messenger are used on the same domain. Has anyone found a way to use domain restriction successfully?

When a user starts a chat and wants the status of a certain operation, is it possible based on his user_id, retrieve the last 10 operations he made in form of buttons and ask him to select which one he mentions, and based on the decision, to give an automated reply based on the information in BO?

Hi Everyone,  My team and I are having a hard time adapting to Tickets but we want it to work as tracking our conversations that require engineering/technical assistance is quite difficult! Does anyone have any best practices or tips on how they are currently managing back office tickets when working with other teams?  Here’s an example: Our support team may get an issue that requires us to get assistance from our engineering team. Currently we create a back office ticket, fill out all the necessary fields that our engineering team needs and assigns the ticket to the engineering queue.  When the engineering team needs more information, they’d prefer not to keep the ticket in their queue so they send it back to support, essentially leaving us with double the amount of tickets till we get the information from our clients to send it back to the engineering queue.  Appreciate any insight! 

I configured IOS for intercom correctly with APNS Key but still i didn't receive any notification, if the agent send a message to my iphone

I'm being prevented from putting the email in the body of the intercom web message, every time I try to put it in, I get: POST 403 (Forbidden). Why is this happening? Can't I send the email? We are using helpdesk a little differently.Example: Team leader A has 4 team members - B, C, D, E.B raises a ticket for the whole team but then leaves before it is resolved, we would like to assign this ticket to another member, A. Is this possible?

Hi, I’m setting up an onboarding checklist for new users. Users will have to go through multiple pages within our app to complete the list. I did a test run but the checklist is not opening up on the sequential pages after the initial launch. How can I make sure that the checklist is opened each time the user goes to the next page? Or does the user have to manually open the list each time he moves to another page?

I’m currently setting up workflows in Intercom to automate some of my customer interactions, but I want to make sure everything is functioning properly before launching it to all users. Is there a way to test or preview the workflows to ensure the messages, triggers, and actions are working as expected? also( Check out ), are there any best practices for testing workflows before they go live to avoid issues with incorrect message delivery or user segmentation? Don't pass by—give an Upvote if you want to ensure your clients' emails don't get lost in the spam folder!The built-in spam filter often flags legitimate emails as spam, making them easy to miss. This is unacceptable, especially since there's no option to disable it! Please add this feature as a matter of urgency.

we would like to forward all incoming e-mails sent to our support team to intercom. this can be achieved by using the default inbound address from the e-mail forwarding settings in intercom. no problem. BUT: we do have 2 teams in our support:one team for all clients in france (french speaking only) 1 team in germany (german speaking only) we are using 2 e-mail addresses for our clients:france-support@company.comgermany-support@company.com if i forward all imcoming e-mails to my germany-support@company.com e-mail address to the intercom default inbound address, everythin is OK - i receive these e-mails as new chat in the intercom inbox. BUT: we are usinig 2 inboxes in intercom:GERMAN support teamFRENCH support team can i create 2 default inbox addresses, so that this would be possible: client in France sends an e-mail to france-support@company.com --> will start a new chat in the France Inbox in intercomclient in Germany sends an e-mail to germany-support@company.com --> will sta

However, whenever I make an attempt to attach the tag, I receive an error indicating that the tag isn't supported for this ticket type.
