We need to show users that there are additional unread responses - how is this done?Seems the Android SDK behaviour differs and every new message is displayed as it comes in.

Hi, I have a user who is unable to see the “Start Conversation” (in our case “Send us a message”) button I have read this article and checked our settings and have confirmed they are all what they should be. We are not using assignment capacity. I have also been unable to reproduce the problem on the same device/browser as the user or any other combination. We have tried clearing their browser cache, and logging in/out of or application (to re-initialize the Intercom connection) The problem is on an iPhone SE using Safari, but using a simulator I was unable to reproduce the issue. One thing I find odd is that I also don’t see the button in question in the preview editor (for either users or visitors) but am not sure if this is a red herring. are there more troubleshooting steps I can do or do you see something obvious that I am missing?

we have an integration with our current phone system and that creates a new conversation that is assigned to the teammate that answers the call.however, the agents should always remember to assign a team as well.they do not, so i want to automate that based on a workflow.but when i create a reusable workflow with a rule stating that "if team member is X ->the assign team X2"that unassigns the team member from the conversation.how can i automatically assign a team to a conversation that has an agent assigned to it without removing said teammate?

I am trying to send a rich link in the metadata of a custom event triggered with the intercom-go package. In intercom’s dashboard, it reaches as [Object Object]. I experience the console message [Intercom] Launcher is disabled in settings or current page does not match display conditions, but I have hidden the default launcher as I have implemented my own launcher.  I would not expect to see the console message in this case, but it does appear.These are my settings below, am I missing something?window.intercomSettings = {    api_base: "https://api-iam.intercom.io",    app_id: "<my app id>",    hide_default_launcher: true, // Hides the default Intercom icon    vertical_padding: 60  };

We recently moved to 24/7 support and have several agents with 3 or 4 days between their shifts. One of our SOPs is that a thank-you convo from a user will be assigned to the agent who helped, so they can get the CSAT survey.We now have convos sitting for multiple days in an agents inbox waiting for them to return to work, dragging their subsequent response time down. We can snooze them, but customizing the snooze time to everyone’s schedule is more clicks than we want to deal with.Is there any way (via workflow or any other option) to “snooze until agent is active again”? This would solve so many problems for us!

Hi there! I’ve been debugging an issue with our React Native app’s implementation of the `loginUnidentifiedUser` + `loginUserWithUserAttributes` combo, and noticed that while the Android module has a few descriptive cases before being handled by `IntercomError.getErrorMessage()`, the iOS module simply throws a generic error for all failures.Is there a reason why actual request errors aren’t being bubbled up through these methods? For example, if the login failed due to the Identity Verification check, I feel like it would be reasonable to include that and the related code in the failure callback.Thanks!

HelloI’m having trouble with Intercom’s Product Tours feature. I’ve set up a tour that’s supposed to trigger for new users upon their first login. However; the tour isn’t starting automatically as expected.🙁I’ve confirmed that the tour is set to trigger for new users (those who’ve signed up within the past 1 day). I’ve set the trigger based on a custom event that records a user’s first login. I’ve double-checked that the tour is published and not in draft mode. Tested across different browsers to ensure it’s not a compatibility issue. Ensured that the users meet all the criteria for the tour to start. I’m trying to tag users who visit some of my pages, so I can send them targeted communication and let agents know about it. Is there a way to tag users who have previously visited a page?  I see how I can tag new visitors.  Can I tag past visitors?  The user segmentation filters don’t include page viewed.

Hello!We @ the team members who need to be notified when we create a ticket by using their Slack handle, and the ticket then populates in Slack. I’ve noticed, however, that the slack handle doesn’t populate most of the time, and there seems to be little rhyme or reason as to why. First I thought it was preferring single usernames, like @megan, because I was seeing those go through, but then when I tagged an on-call person recently, @eng-on-call, it populated as well without issue.Does anyone know how to fix this so it appropriately notifies the person?

Hi there, we’ve got a barebones React Native app running the Intercom SDK version 7.1.3 - we’ve been trying to follow the documentation to setup Universal linking (including the appropriate Info.plist attribution), so our CX team can link specific places inside the app from their conversations https://developers.intercom.com/installing-intercom/react-native/deep-linking - but we’ve found that it correctly routes behind the modal for Intercom, but Intercom still opens up Safari (this is on an iOS test device) even though the specified domain is included in the ` IntercomUniversalLinkDomains` property in `Info.plist` - we are using AppsFlyer if that helps / aids anything, and React Navigation under the hood. (So if we head back to the app and dismiss Intercom, we are in the correct place)Thanks!

I am trying to see if it’s possible to do an automated email for those who: Just subscribed Have been inactive for 10 days I was going through the list of options on Intercom and wasn’t able to figure out where to go for that.

Currently, when I'm in a conversation in Intercom, I have to manually click the "Send" button to send my messages. I would like to send messages simply by pressing the "Enter" key. Is there a way to change this setting so I can use "Enter" to send the chat? It would make the process much quicker and more efficient for me.

Work in MadCap Flare to produce all our help documentation.   Want to import all the articles from Flare to Intercom.I see several standard tools on the Flare side for other standard support systems on the market, but Intercom is not listed.  LINK What recommendations do you have on the process?    Would love this to be automated so everything stays organized, tagged and synced.

We are trying to update user_id for a bunch of intercom users but UpdateUser method is giving "400 - User already exists" error when trying to update user_id. We are calling this api for multiple users and for most it is giving 400 response. According to the API documentation, we should be able to update user_id when id is passed.Params passed{    id: <Intercom user id>,   user_id: <user Id to set>}We are using node intercom-client 2.11.2 with app token for API version 1.0

I opened a support ticket 15+ hours ago and the intercom automated messenger provided me zero help.  Its automated bot said up to 5 hour response times.  Of course this is unacceptable when the issue is causing a production outage of my product but there is no way to escalate.I have emailed all the support and customer service emails I have ever dealt with and it seems like Intercom is just a shadow of a company run by FinAI now.  Are there people there that I can talk to?This is seriously a terrible demonstration of how their tech can help customer support teams.  It is an abysmal service from the customer's perspective.If anyone can guide me on how to escalate to a human at Intercom I would really appreciate it.  This is having a material impact on my business at this point. Update: There isn’t even a category from the pick list on this forum that fits my need.  Terrible experience.

I’ve been looking at the knowledge base and the community messages, and I found nothing on it. Could someone help me understand? Thanks! 

I have the Slack integration working, so all messages sent via the live chat widget on our webiste are going to a Slack channel. How can I set it up so replies in a Slack thread go back to the Intercom conversation, and to the live chat widget? I have tried builing a “Teammate sends any message” workflow, and also a “Teammate adds a note” workflow, but neither one worked. Any suggestions?

In Conversation Topics, how should I expect the "Keywords and phrases to track" feature to work? Phrases, in particular, don't appear to work as described. I've found that if a phrase is added to this field, it will reliably include results that only feature one word within a phrase, rather than the whole phrase. In my attached screenshot you can see two phrases in the field "Home page" and "to do list". The volume of conversation results increased by an order of magnitude when I added "to do list" because it seems to include any conversation with the word "list."  According to the Help Center article, I'm under the impression it should only include conversations in which the words "to", "do", and "list" are all within three words of one another. Am I misapprehending how the Keywords and phrases feature works, or is this not working as expected?

Good evening, community, it’s night here in Brazil.Maybe someone can help me, here’s the situation:I have an initial support bot that asks the customer 3 mandatory questions. If the customer doesn’t answer them, they won’t be directed to an agent.However, we have many cases where customers abandon the bot and don’t respond to the questions.In these cases, the chat stays idle for hours, and I couldn’t find an option in the trigger conditions to set up automatic closure when the customer remains inactive while still in the bot.Does anyone know how to configure this?
