I’ve created a Fin AI custom action that calls an API endpoint which returns the following response: {"shiftDate": "2024-09-24","company": "Global Solutions","hourlyRate": "$20.11","location": "https://www.google.com/maps?q=-56.464281,-27.830251"} I have a workflow defined that allows users to type in their questions. However, when I ask:"When is my next shift?" "What's the hourly rate for my next shift?"Fin successfully triggers the custom action, but it doesn't generate an answer. Instead, it says it couldn't find any answer for the question.What am I doing wrong?

How can I create automatic redirects to a specific command? Currently, I have attempted several methods. I have created two workflows. In one, messages are checked by “Message content is”, “Message content contains”, “Message content contains word”, and if it does, the message is redirected to a specific destination. In the other workflow, a specific field is marked that stores the text "book_here", and if this field is present in a message, it is automatically redirected. However, neither of these methods has worked perfectly.What is the best approach for me to take to ensure automatic transmission of messages? I have only two ways to determine the messages that need to be reassigned to the specific team - this is the field in the dialog that stores the text "book_here" and the text of the message, which is always the same.

I have a website example.com with a “Support” button in the footer. The button is a link to example.com/help. On the server, that redirects to help.example.com (intercom). We’ve set that up following the custom domain instructions and this all works fine.  However, if the user is signed in on our site, I’d like to pass the information about the signed-in user to intercom. How can I do this WITHOUT loading any client JS on our site. There should be a way to add a cookie server side on the help.example.com route that identifies the user but I don’t see any doc that explain how to do this. Any help would be appreciated 🙏

Is it possible to share prepared articles from the "Help" section in the Intercom chat on Telegram and WhatsAppusing a chat bot? I am not looking for pre-made solutions available on the internet, but rather want to know whether such functionality is available.For example, if a customer contacts support via Telegram and we send them a pre-prepared article from the Help section, is it possible for the customer to view it? Since articles from this section are not sent in text form, but instead through pop-up windows with hyperlinks, is there any way to make this information accessible to the customer?

Hi, I am using Make (formerly Integromat) to automate data exports. So I’m following this API call in the documentation : https://developers.intercom.com/intercom-api-reference/reference/create-data-exportTo do so in Make, I use the Intercom module “Make an API call” with a POST request (see attached picture) with the right URL endpoint : /export/content/data. (as mentioned in the doc) And with two dates with the right format in timestamp (I took June 1st and June 30th for the example). But when I try it I get a 401 error “unauthorized”.I don’t understand because in other automations I use the exact same module to Search contacts. In this case it is still a POST request and what changes are :the URL endpoint is : /contacts/search And the parameters of the query but it works.  I don’t understand what’s going on and overall : I don’t know how to get the authorization 😬I tried to create another connection and to re-do the process to authorize Make to access Intercom and vice versa but it

I have a common use case where customers send email attachments that our service processes for them, but they often send these to our general inbound  support email inbox rather than to a dedicated inbox here they’ll be auto-processed from. Is it possible to set up an Intercom automation that will recognise when an incoming email has a PDF attachment and is from a known customer, and will auto-forward that email with the attachment?

Hello, I have configured different types of custom bots. In some cases, I need the bot to create a note on the conversation which tells my agents which resources to check and if they need to call the customer right away. I haven’t been able to find the option to add a note in the settings, so I am wondering if that’s possible at all. Thank you in advance for your help and guidance!Cheers

When opening the Intercom messenger to send messages, after tapping the initial prompt and being asked to type a question, sometimes the text input field for the message does not appear, and there is no way for the user to type. We’ve had reports of this happening from users and have videos of it happening, but have not been able to replicate this behaviour on the simulator. We’re encountering this issue on version 17.0.0

Hello, I’m new to the Intercom API and I encountered an error when using the “Convert a conversation to a ticket” api.  The error is ‘errors': [{'code': 'server_error', 'message': 'Server Error'}] What should I do? Is there a solution for this problem?

  Is there a way for a custom action to interact with an application in a help desk?  For example, I have a created custom action and a created and added application in a tab. During a conversation, if I activate the custom action on a message(which contains the order number), a request goes to the backend. Can I somehow trigger the application in the current conversation from the backend, passing and displaying the order data there?

Is it possible to get to this screen with the Intercom JS API?  

Hi, I use intercom to chat with my clients on android and iOS. I have noticed that after a few days, on the android device we get clients being prompted to send a message instead of continuing with the previous conversation. is there a way to prevent users from opening these new conversations? I have turned it off in messenger setttings and mobile SDKs but even still after a few weeks, the recent conversations changes to send us a message and starts a new conversation all together

To start with, Hubspot is telling me to ask Intercom for help, and Intercom tells me they can’t do anything and to ask Hubspot.I am trying to sync new companies created in Hubspot to Intercom. In Hubspot, for some reason I have two integrations (this may be problematic, I don’t know).The “Built by Intercom” Intercom integration won’t let me edit anything.The “Built by Hubspot” integration is editable. When I configure it, it says that thousaands of companies are in sync, a handful are failed, and a handful are excluded (this is expected). In Intercom I have only a few dozen companies in my contacts section (this is unexpected). When I look further, I see specific companies and see that the system thinks they are indeed synced. I look for those specific companies and do not find them. Hi! We’re trying to resolve an inconvenience in our Salesforce org where if a customer replies to an Intercom conversation via email, their response creates a new case in Salesforce instead of getting added to the existing case. I could set up a flow in Salesforce to associate these new email responses to their existing case if we could get the conversation Id into the email subject. Is there a way to do this? Or has anyone else found a better way to tackle this in Intercom/Salesforce?

Hi,I have created the GA4 setup using Google Tag Manager using this setup configuration. When I run a test in Preview Mode in Tag Manager, all I get is the Tag not firing because {{Event}} which comes up as value gtm.js never equals the Trigger values.Followed this setup: https://www.intercom.com/help/en/articles/6990698-setting-up-the-ga4-integration-with-google-tag-manager#h_9e4beabb3dIs there a step I’m missing that is not in the documentation on the link above?  

Is there a way to setup separate intercom conversation flows per a specific site page.. i.e., dedicated/specific operator, unique message flow, etc. 

Hey everyone! I have a new product that we are in the process of finishing up to release to customers soon, and I wanted to launch a message to segment of customers to signup for a waitlist to use the product. Intercom has done this recently for Fin Copilot.  How can I create this? I was thinking of sending out a post to the segment, but I need to collect a yes or a no to join the waitlist. Then I want to pick people in order of who clicked “yes” first and slowly release to that list of users.  Any ideas?
