Hey Everyone,I have a question. We have a few customers that CC everyone humanly possible when they submit an inquiry. They add our support email, several of our employees, several of their employees, sometimes even a kitchen sink (with an email address). Due to this when we reply its chaos. We are currently manually removing the cc’d emails but the communication is very frequent (dozens of times a day). Is there a workflow we can create that IF an email comes from say BOB and his 37 cc’d friends, we can remove those 37 friends automatically before we reply to the inquiry?

A majority of our users have their app in dark mode, and the native help center feels out of place when opened.

Is there an easy way to get a custom report of conversations with linked tickets? The data export for conversations does not include any columns on tickets like ticket ID, etc., and the data export for tickets does not include a linked conversation ID column. 

Our product is an interactive design tool and I want to find a way to create a Product Tour where users can interact with our app then click Next to advance rather than the default behavior where they can’t do anything except click Next.Using the Click on Element method to advance doesn’t work because our elements require multiple clicks to complete the interaction (e.g. dragging and dropping)I’m considering building a daisy chain of product tours where one tour ends, there is a button in a banner to go to the next one, and then the next tour begins. This seems overly complex though so I’d love to know if anyone has a simpler solution. 

Is it possible to change the number of characters available in the Help Center Footer?There seems to be a hard limit that is not allowing us to add our standard footer to the help centre

The argument to the function is a filename constructed using untrusted input. If an attacker is allowed to specify all or part of the filename, it may be possible to gain unauthorized access to files on the server, including those outside the webroot, that would be normally be inaccessible to end users. I’m currently integrating the intercom messenger widget in a SPA written with React (tsx files).The application is currently executing window.intercom(“boot”, window.intercomSettings) whenever url changes.Is there some clever way to check if the messenger widget is already booted as I don’t want to reboot the intercom widget every time a user navigates around in my application but instead call window.intercom(“update”, window.intercomSettings).

However, when I ask:"When is my next shift?" "What's the hourly rate for my next shift?"Fin successfully triggers the custom action, but it doesn't generate an answer. Instead, it says it couldn't find any answer for the question.What am I doing wrong?

How can I create automatic redirects to a specific command? Currently, I have attempted several methods. I have created two workflows. In one, messages are checked by “Message content is”, “Message content contains”, “Message content contains word”, and if it does, the message is redirected to a specific destination. In the other workflow, a specific field is marked that stores the text "book_here", and if this field is present in a message, it is automatically redirected. However, neither of these methods has worked perfectly.What is the best approach for me to take to ensure automatic transmission of messages? I have only two ways to determine the messages that need to be reassigned to the specific team - this is the field in the dialog that stores the text "book_here" and the text of the message, which is always the same.

I have a website example.com with a “Support” button in the footer. The button is a link to example.com/help. On the server, that redirects to help.example.com (intercom). We’ve set that up following the custom domain instructions and this all works fine.  However, if the user is signed in on our site, I’d like to pass the information about the signed-in user to intercom. How can I do this WITHOUT loading any client JS on our site. There should be a way to add a cookie server side on the help.example.com route that identifies the user but I don’t see any doc that explain how to do this. Any help would be appreciated 🙏

Is it possible to share prepared articles from the "Help" section in the Intercom chat on Telegram and WhatsAppusing a chat bot? I am not looking for pre-made solutions available on the internet, but rather want to know whether such functionality is available.For example, if a customer contacts support via Telegram and we send them a pre-prepared article from the Help section, is it possible for the customer to view it? Since articles from this section are not sent in text form, but instead through pop-up windows with hyperlinks, is there any way to make this information accessible to the customer?

Hi, I am using Make (formerly Integromat) to automate data exports. So I’m following this API call in the documentation : https://developers.intercom.com/intercom-api-reference/reference/create-data-exportTo do so in Make, I use the Intercom module “Make an API call” with a POST request (see attached picture) with the right URL endpoint : /export/content/data. (as mentioned in the doc) And with two dates with the right format in timestamp (I took June 1st and June 30th for the example). But when I try it I get a 401 error “unauthorized”.I don’t understand because in other automations I use the exact same module to Search contacts. In this case it is still a POST request and what changes are :the URL endpoint is : /contacts/search And the parameters of the query but it works.  I don’t understand what’s going on and overall : I don’t know how to get the authorization 😬I tried to create another connection and to re-do the process to authorize Make to access Intercom and vice versa but it

I have a common use case where customers send email attachments that our service processes for them, but they often send these to our general inbound  support email inbox rather than to a dedicated inbox here they’ll be auto-processed from. Is it possible to set up an Intercom automation that will recognise when an incoming email has a PDF attachment and is from a known customer, and will auto-forward that email with the attachment?

Hello, I have configured different types of custom bots. In some cases, I need the bot to create a note on the conversation which tells my agents which resources to check and if they need to call the customer right away. I haven’t been able to find the option to add a note in the settings, so I am wondering if that’s possible at all. Thank you in advance for your help and guidance!Cheers

When opening the Intercom messenger to send messages, after tapping the initial prompt and being asked to type a question, sometimes the text input field for the message does not appear, and there is no way for the user to type. We’ve had reports of this happening from users and have videos of it happening, but have not been able to replicate this behaviour on the simulator. We’re encountering this issue on version 17.0.0

  Is there a way for a custom action to interact with an application in a help desk?  For example, I have a created custom action and a created and added application in a tab. During a conversation, if I activate the custom action on a message(which contains the order number), a request goes to the backend. Can I somehow trigger the application in the current conversation from the backend, passing and displaying the order data there?
