Mobile SDKs

I've updated Intercom sdk today to version 16.2.2 and by updating it the keyboard would not be displayed on any textfield in the app regardless if it was intercom messenger or just any field. This happened only on iOS 17. Once I've downgraded to 16.2.1 it has started working again.

When I attempt to log in (using either loginUnidentifiedUser or loginUserWithUserAttributes), I encounter the following error: [Error: ERROR - [HTTP 404] - Resource Not Found].The Android API Key and app ID are correctly set in android/app/src/main/java/com/recruitrobin/MainApplication.java.Using:RN v0.7.2.6android.minSdkVersion=21android.compileSdkVersion=34android.targetSdkVersion=33android.buildToolsVersion=29.0.2

Open the intercom modal → swipe left (the go back gesture) → the app freezes as a result. When using two permission prompts in a mobile carousel and the first prompt is accepted the second prompt gets marked as accepted automatically when the user hasn’t accepted it yet.In this example I enabled the notification permissions and the location permissions updated to show it was accepted when I never tapped the `Enable Location` permissions button. We use Intercom on our app to send links for users to perform actions, in the form of URL actions, something like bundleID://some/action Some of these actions take the user to other places in the app, so we want to dismiss Intercom. What’s the correct way to do this? There’s no API to dismiss Intercom, and the convoluted presentation mode (creating an ICMWindow on top of all the other windows) make it super awkward.

Our React Native app is crashing when users press and hold on any message visible on the chat screen. So far we have only had reports from iOS 17+.We are using this  package.React Native version: 0.72.5intercom-react-native : 5.3.1 Please let me know if there is anything else I can provide to help. 

I  am trying to update Intercom from 15.0.3 to 15.2.3 but I have a weird layout when I open the chat window. As you can see, the text field fit the entire screen width. I tried the last version of the SDK but same problem.   

Line 86 of your react native iOS bridge for the Intercom SDK causes a rejection after the resolve has already run, if the app is unable to communicate with Intercom. I think you will either need to add a success handler into the native Intercom SDK, or remove this reject call althogether, as this is almost certainly going to be causing issues for any user of the react-native bridge if the network call fails. https://github.com/intercom/intercom-react-native/blob/main/ios/IntercomModule.m#L86

Hello, we plan to use Intercom survey for our React Native app. We've tried to use the event based survey but we notice that the event based survey cannot be triggered automatically inside the app every time our events sent, instead, it always triggers our surveys when we relaunch the app. We would like to know if Intercom supports this behavior in React Native and how can we achieve it ?We are using:React Native version 0.65.1@intercom/intercom-react-native version 3.0.5Thanks

Is there a reason why you can't use the camera's phone to take a photo during a conversation? As far as I can tell all you're able to do is to use photos from the camera roll. This seems a strange choice. It seems far more likely that a user would want to illustrate their issue during a conversation, rather than have to exit the app, open the camera, take a photo, then return to the app, open the conversation again and then find the photo in their Camera Roll.

We found an issue with the React Native SDK where messages sent through the API are crashing Intercom Messenger when opening the conversation. When we send out a post message via push notification, select reply via emojis, the emojis don't appear in the message, any thoughts as too why?

After updating to new RN, everything was fine, but when i updated Intercom, the app has been starting close after open, and rn console was clean... Intercom appear animation looks like it’s presenting its View Controller on top of the current View Controller. But in reality it adds a new UIWindow with a snapshot of the current window and presents its View Controller on top of it.The issue is it doesn’t look for the top window, but uses something like UIApplication.shared.windows.first for the snapshot — this breaks animation with multiple app windows.In our case we have another “User is blocked please contact support” window on top (with higher windowLevel), which is not used for this snapshot :(Expected:Intercom should use the top-level key window for the snapshot.Intercom UIWindow’s windowLevel should be the same or higher than the current top window.

Hey folks 👋🏾After several recent updates, Xcode debugger stopped working for us, (lldb) po selfwarning: Swift error in scratch context: error: failed to load module 'Pipedrive'.Shared Swift state for Pipedrive has developed fatal errors and is being discarded.REPL definitions and persistent names/types will be lost. error: expression failed to parse:unknown errorDo you have any ideas what can be an issue? We are using cocoapods, but adding framework manually or via SPM doesn’t solve the issue. If we roll back to 15.1.1 everything works fine for us 🤔

When I create a new iOS Storyboard project and add the iOS SDK https://github.com/intercom/intercom-ios-sp via Swift Package Manager it fails to build with the following error:The signature of “Intercom.xcframework” cannot be verified.I received the same error when upgrading from 15.1.5 to 15.2.0 in an existing project also.Edit: Fetching other versions work fine.Edit 2: This is an issue in Xcode 15 betas only (specifically Beta 6 for me). Building with Xcode 14.3 works fine.

Hi, everyone!I am facing some weird issues after updating to latest intercom version, but it also happened after last update.Last year, in november, I upgraded to 'io.intercom.android:intercom-sdk:12.5.0' and after that, we got some massive crashing in production which is still present since I was trying to fix navigation until today when something else happened and I got suspicion it is related to intercom upgrade.
