I am in the process of creating a large help center with long articles. We are organizing many of the articles (as suggested) with anchored links to the Heading 1s within the article at the article’s beginning. But creating the TOC  at the top is very time consuming as you have to enter the TOC text, scroll down to copy the anchored link, scroll up to link the heading, scroll down again, etc. Is there a faster way to do this - i.e. - autogenerate a TOC for all heading 1s or at the very least, copy the heading text and link at the same time? 

I am trying to create a custom object and no matter what I type I get this error every time I hit save. I have tried different object names and always get the same result. It even happened during the walkthrough tutorial. Any ideas of how I can fix it? Thanks in advance. 

I’m seeing this error when I try to set live a new workflow. Our front end SDK’s are all updated. The new workflow includes the new “Let customer type” option

Hi! My question is, can we get only specific fields while making a request to intercom API? What I mean is can we somehow mention that we need only one or a couple of fields? For example by adding “&fields=type, total_count” to the request URI for getting conversations. Getting all fields for all conversations is just absolutely not optimal, especially considering the body part of the conversation. Moreover, the more conversations we will get, the heavier each update of this date will be. 

Open the intercom modal → swipe left (the go back gesture) → the app freezes as a result. Hi everyone, in my web app, my user can login in multiple device with the same Account, but in every device have its own device conversation.Can i sync that into one ? For example expected:  - Account A device 1 → Start conversation X - Account A device 2 → Start conversation Y=> Both device will get conversation X and Y

When using two permission prompts in a mobile carousel and the first prompt is accepted the second prompt gets marked as accepted automatically when the user hasn’t accepted it yet.In this example I enabled the notification permissions and the location permissions updated to show it was accepted when I never tapped the `Enable Location` permissions button. I have a custom action for creating hubspot tickets and today the formatting for `conversation.Transcript` has changed in the way it encodes line breaks. I am able to use the tools to specify the URL and add tour steps to test the feature, but the preview does not show up. I’ve tried changing the audience, even making it available to everyone (Users, Visitors, and Leads), but the preview still does not display. Is there perhaps a setting on my user profile, a permission or role, that needs to be adjusted?Thanks!

We use Intercom on our app to send links for users to perform actions, in the form of URL actions, something like bundleID://some/action Some of these actions take the user to other places in the app, so we want to dismiss Intercom. What’s the correct way to do this? There’s no API to dismiss Intercom, and the convoluted presentation mode (creating an ICMWindow on top of all the other windows) make it super awkward.

Hi guys, I’m new here and just getting familiar with Intercom. A bit of background on us. We have a multisided platform. One product is “Service Provider” and the other is “Consumer”.I’m wondering is it possible to have separate inbox folders which can organise users based on attributes “isServiceProvider” or “isConsumer”. So when we receive messages, they will automatically go to the correct inbox folder instead of All Users. I'm still figuring out best use cases and am a complete novice so any help would be appreciated. CheersRay

I've been getting this message - "Email can't be sent right now as your workspace is being reviewed".Then your AI chatbot asked me to provide 4 pieces of information:1. The website/domain where you've installed Intercom.2. An email address on a company domain that you will be using to send messages from Intercom.3. Information on whether you validate email addresses when users sign up on your website.4. Provide a link or instructions to where the signup flow can be tested.Now that I've provided. I haven't heard back from them yet. It's been almost 1 day. What is their support email? Hello.About 6 months ago I tested that when I created a message that used “Company name” variable and user was member of multiple companies, the message was sent to the user once per each company (eg. three times at once, each with different company name).This is behavior is documented here: https://www.intercom.com/help/en/articles/248-personalizing-messages-using-variables#company-nameNote: If a user is a member of multiple companies, messages using company name will be sent to them once for each company. Also, if I use a filter rule based on some company attribute (eg. Plan) and I use the “Check if user matches” feature in the message dropdown menu, I can see info message:“In cases where a user is a member of multiple companies, we will evaluate each company individually to see if they match the rules.”in the “Current matching status” section. It does not tell whether the message will be sent for each message but it shows whether the rules match for each company separately.However,

Hello. I am aware of the option on how to select multiple conversations in a view and close them. However, we don’t wish to close all the snoozed want to close a particular type of snoozed conversations. Is there a way to apply a filter and only get the relevant type of conversations and then be able to bulk close them?  Just sorting doesn’t help when you have a few thousands snoozed conversations. 

Have mapped SF account attributes to Intercom companies.  Most of the data is pulling over just fine (hooray!).  But there are some instances where some, but not all, of a companies attributes aren’t pulling over even though they exist in SF.  I have been spot checking and don’t see a pattern or commonality in the instances.  Just kind of random.  Anyone else seen this?  Any tips on how to handle?  Thanks!

I have been trying to get an answer to this via support chat without luck…We are having an issue with the authentication status of our domain for emails. We had been authorised but recently moved our website and domain host to a different service. We added the Intercom DNS records to the new host a couple of weeks ago but the status of the domain in Intercom is still showing as unauthenticated.The new host is Squarespace.What else can we try doing to resolve this? It is impacting our deliverability due to junk/spam filters.Thanks 

Our React Native app is crashing when users press and hold on any message visible on the chat screen. So far we have only had reports from iOS 17+.We are using this  package.React Native version: 0.72.5intercom-react-native : 5.3.1 Please let me know if there is anything else I can provide to help. 

I want to send out emails to a list of users based on a csv upload. I want the email copy to have custom parameters that pick up data points from the csv. How can I do this in intercom?

Hi,I have embedded the Intercom script using Javascript. When I checked the Intercom setting configuration, everything looked good to me. But when I tried to init Intercom messager, I got an error "Invalid user_hash". Then I tried to check the user_hash value in the setting and compare it to the value in the dashboard. It's all the SAME. Why I still got this error?
